  • Hello everyone and thank you for watching this PlanesWeekly video!
This time we're in the classic Boeing 737-300 with added winglets. This 737-300 YL-BBJ, has now seen it's last days of commercial operation for AirBaltic. The airline had plans to retire the aircraft from it's fleet by the summer of 2020, however, due to the pandemic, they effectivly retired in the middle of March 2020. This particular aircraft was delivered in august of 1999, which makes it one of the very last 737-300's produced. Luckily this aircraft type still flies with a handful of airlines, and will hopefully continue post covid19.
We are greatful for all the support, and nice comments we get everyday! We love to create these videos for you guys to enjoy!
    Safe and happy flying!

Have you ever flown the 733? Luckily you can still fly it a few places around the world! ✈

Amazing footage my friend. It’s unfortunate that Air Baltic have retired their 737-300s, I just love 737 classics. Jet2 are most likely retiring their’s later this year as well :(

Qantas Freight and Air Nauru still flying these variants and both 30+ years old. They have been real workhorses

Guys, you should all be happy airlines retire their old fleet. It's more fuel efficient and safer to fly newer aircraft. you can still visit those old timers in museums, you don't need to fly in them.
