For the second fire alarm test, we go to the Middle School Quad. We start in the office, and make our way into the main middle school building, and film the alarms in action in a random classroom.
I should've filmed a little bit more though. - Věda a technologie
My old high school has a similar setup exept we didn't have speectralertadvance and the speaker strobes only had the code 3 tone which is the same as the speaker strobes in this video but without the voice message playing.
0:28 that one kid making a break for it XD
a mixture of Horns, Horn/strobes, Speakers, and Speaker/strobes.
Similar to my high school too.
The speaker strobes are simplex truealerts and the outdoor speakers are wheelock et-1010-r’s.
How come in California outside there's horn onlys or speaker onlys?
There’s one outside speaker strobe at my high school but other than that it’s outside speakers or outside horns only.
Can someone explain to me why outside of the building some loud medium-high pitched nonstop hum plays while the alarms are going off inside the building. This is a school in Connecticut.
First off, this school is near Los Angeles, California. Next, there are different types of alarms from Wheelock & Simplex horn strobes, & Simplex speaker/strobes. All of the alarms activate at once.
Cool system!
Nice
At my high school (also LA County), they had mechanical horns (Gentex GMH, I think) on continuous outside and then Gentex Commander2s on code 3 in the classrooms.
Interesting that they use both continuous and code 3
@@LAFAALS yeah, the overall sound was interesting. This was installed back in the very early 2000s, though, so I don't know if they've changed it since.
am calein the coops
