  • a brand new notifier fire system has been installed in Riverbend Middle School and the system is obviously being tested so before school starts again and I was a fire alarm helper so I pulled the pull station the pull stations are the NBG12 LXs in the fire alarms that have been installed are the System Sensor L Series and System Sensor specter alert Advances so I videotaped as much as I can so hopefully you enjoy the video. and by the way this was done with permission by the technicians and and always remember never pull the fire alarm unless there's a real emergency

    They were testing the fire alarm system at work a couple days ago (all P2RL horn strobes), and I had to get earplugs because the L series is so ear-piercing! This looks like it would be a cool job, but you would need ear protection.

    Smart to do ceiling mount devices in hallways rather than replace the old Edwards wall horns

    Noisy fire alarms in a small classroom can be dangerous for those with sensitive ears.

      oh trust me, back in my 2013-14 school year, they had system sensor pc2w’s in the classrooms, and the worst of all was the the tile floor 🤦🏻‍♂️ I always pissed my pants everytime we had a fire drill.

      @@alexgilbert2 my high school had Siemens U-MMTs (or U-MHUs) in the classrooms that did actually make my ear bleed during a false activation (from a faulty smoke detector).

    As much as I don’t like these alarms I rather see a system like this than the stupid Edwards EST system in my school that keeps breaking

    Wow, I saw some lights thst stayed on when the other lights were off, It’s like form my school, the lights that look normal are emergency lights!

      My middle and current school have those, except in the hallways little emergency lights are built into them. I seen my middle school with the power off but not my current school (Besides the power going out for 3 seconds).

    • @DanielDailyYT
      @DanielDailyYT Před 2 lety +2

      At my school, the power went out for like 15 minutes before. And in the classrooms, there are emergency lights and the teachers can actually turn them off. I was shocked, I thought they stayed on forever. Lol!

      Yes you're right but the old EST system is taken out of service and those old horn strokes are going to be removed

    You have permission to do it but remember never pull fire alarms in public buildings unless there is a real fire I’m not responsible for your actions.
