- there's a fire alarm inspection going on at the school so I pulled a bunch of pull stations on this video test a couple of smoke detectors as well along with the fire technicians so the pull stations are seen as the notifier npg-12 lx's along with system sensor L series and system sensor specter alert advances the same system at the other school so hopefully you guys will enjoy this video and please sit back relax and enjoy
Cool nice fire alarm inspection
02:20 That System Sensor P2WL needs to be replaced with a new one because the strobe light is skipping a beat which I never seen a fire alarm strobe do before which is very weird (scratching my head)
How do you like the sound of Fire Alarms Mr.Ryerson?
Was this in 2021 there is something up with the qualifying
That’s a lot of stopper alarms
Wait horn strobes are still allowed to be installed in schools in your state? Woah one of the few remaining ones. My state has had them banned since 2015 unless it is part of an addition to an existing horn strobe system
This is the school I got to 😭
Yep horn strobes are still allowed in the state of Virginia my school has them and I really hate it because fire drills could potentially burst out my ears I really wish that every state ban horn strobes from public schools and put in Voice evacuation systems A.k.a. speaker strobes instead of horn strobes for the fire alarm and especially true to us special education students that get bothered by the regular horn strobe fire alarm.
@@boydalexander4652 I do understand what your talking about. I respect your opinion.
In my opinion, I prefer the mechanical horns over the horns you hear on an L series or a Spectralert Advanced. Now that I'm older, I'm not as big of a fan of Speaker Strobes, but I appreciate the fact they are easy on the ears.
There supposed to be loud
Every School Has Fire Drill
Yep that's right, every school has fire drill because it's all part of the codes of NFPA
First
14:02 This one needs to be replaced with a System Sensor L-Series Remote Strobe
no it doesn't lol
@@alexandersalarms5380 Well it does because its too loud for a small room, and it's using a SpectrAlert Advance Weatherproof backbox with a SpectrAlert Advance
@@joeycaridi3030 so? Not a code violation
@@joeycaridi3030 it's in a locker room with showers, you can only use the advance
@@FireTech7 It still needs to be replaced with a weatherproof SpectrAlert Advance remote strobe on the weatherproof backbox because if someone is taking a shower and then the fire alarm horn strobe in the shower goes off then someone could go deaf because the room is too small for a horn strobe which will be very loud in there.
That's also why they have the weatherproof SpectrAlert Advance on the weatherproof backbox because the steam and moisture from the shower can break down a non-weatherproof device which is the System Sensor L-Series
