I got the legend of the east out fit on christmas eve. The 100 % completion not long after. My only complaint is you cant get it early in the game so i feel like it lose its luster.
Brian Horst I just got in in chapter 4. Just enter New Austin via the glitch and then everything can be done right in the beginning of chapter 4

There is acc a way to get around the patch. Turn of internet connection. Uninstall rdr2. Reinstall rdr2 and play offline. The saved data should still stay as u are only uninstalling the game but this only works on disc version and i personally havent tried it yet
There’s owl feathers at a destroyed camp near tall trees if you loot the guy against the wagon

If you're concerned about the loss of honor, challenge 8 can still be completed very easily by triggering the random encounter in Saint Denis where the owner asks you to take care of some rats. You can kill all of them with small game arrows to complete the challenge with no honor lost.

I have found at least 5 owls and all of them were flying at night. They are pretty big and easy to spot in the air. I found 2 flying in open plains and 3 flying over different farmlands in lemoyne.
Just wanted to leave a comment to say a massive thank you for putting these great guides up and for all the help along the way. Just unlocked both the Legend Of The East outfit, and the 100% completion achievement. Took way longer than I expected it to and halfway through I wish I’d never started, but the amount of fulfilment I got for beating it was great. Thank you for putting all these countless hours into making this series. I mad appreciate it, as I’m sure do many others!

Aw thank you there was other times where I had to resort to other videos but for the most part you got me through my remaining challenges. Honestly the one where I had to collect every single herb and the one where I had to break all the horses. I found those to be the most painful

Man you are the best! 5 minutes ago I unlocked this outfit and it’s all because of ALL your videos thanks so much man all the struggles but I made it thanks for all the vids they really helped
For anyone struggling to find an owl, you can always find one perching right on top of Emerald Station if you go at night, and if you don't see it, it probably just started flying so look out for it in the sky. Works for me every time.

Emerald ranch is full of owls all the time. I enjoy watching them catch mice then following them on their journey before shooting them in the skull.

Something else that's a big help of you have completed the legendary fishing side quest you unlock a special spinner that let's you catch any kind of fish in any spot of water.it helped a bit but I find that you still have to go to certain areas for fish

I actually had a 3 hit deck but the damn dealer got a blackjack. Quitted, equipped a shotgun and blew his brains out.

I injected my horse with special dog piss to make it have a bit more stamina on the “Van Horn to Blackwater in 17 minutes” Horseman mission.

finally got my legend of the east outfit. It was fun but such a pain in the ass to do.
2:26 no, holding the right stick stops the fish from pulling out the line while it is struggling. As long as you don’t overdo it and give the fish some slack, the line won’t snap
Owl was so easy I knew 3 locations like painted sky, the taxidermist house, and the mini farm where you get the harmonica for Sadie and draw against the gunslinger

I unlocked the outfit at only 80 challenges completed for some reason. I did it all as Arthur, and did every challenge set except for these, and when I completed the 80th, I got the notif that I unlocked it and when I checked the wardrobe, it was there. I used the glitch to get Arthur to New Austin early so that I could complete the Herbalist and Horseman challenges. I think Rockstar set it to 80 challenges for arthur so that you can get away with not doing the ones that require you to go to the forbidden part of the map, and 90 for John because he has access everywhere

Joseph Stalin thank youuuu... someone understands my pain, I know you’ll agree with this, but it would be much easier if the challenges were *SHARED* meaning, when you do the herbalist challenge that requires you to pick 15 different plants, you could also get 15 knocked off of challenge 9
@@vizualwarrior129 so do i. I also wish chalenge 9 counted the herbs u picked up earlier duri g the game i.e. herbs u picked up before starting any of the challenges.
i did all of them and got no outfit which is very annoying
@@blake5434 u sure u did every single challenge? If u did then check a wardrobe. If its not there, u might have to reload a save before u completed all the challenges and complete the final one(s) again.
Owls are very easy to find.. In chapter 3 when you arrive at Clemens Point, either purchase the boat for the camp or find one nearby. Go to the big island directly across from the camp at night, I found and owl resting on a wrecked ship almost immediately

if you’re line snaps while using the right sticc to fight the fish, you’re jus holding it too long, you can hold it for about three and a half seconds before it’ll snap
So I can’t find this anywhere online but do you have to beat the game to do all the challenges and complete the compendium because I beat the game but really missed someone so I just loaded up an old save in chapter 3 and not looking to beat the game again until I complete all the challenges
while watching this video I was just riding around Roanoke ridge in New Hanover during the day and randomly found an owl. I wasn't even on the challenge or looking for one.

OWL’s Frequently Soar in big Circles above & just southwest of Heartland Oil Fields (Every time I go through that area, There is between 1-3 Owls Fly up high). If you don’t see them immediately, Just kill 5-10 other random birds you see flying around and skin a couple (but not all) a move back about 25 yards. Ravens, Hawks and Owls will start descending to feed on the dead birds. If you silently kill the Hawks more Owls will show up.
U did this after the epilogue? Bc idk how people still got Arthur but ion see the yellow mission icon
There's always an owl at the barn at Emerald Ranch, the one where the Fence is located. Come at night, look at the sky above the barn and it will show up after a minute or so.
the large mouth bass can be found where you got the steelhead and the sockeye salmon can be found in ocreoghs run and the red fin pickerel is in the same lake as the steelhead
I found the owl flying above the bridge just north east of Caliga Hall. It only took me a couple minutes.
For owl there’s always one above emerald at night flying over just try keep going around ranch
I got an owl every 2nd night over emerald ranch so it’s pretty consistent

If you need owl feathers go to the oil rig in new Hanover between the A and R in heartlands owls perch on the rig almost every night
Is there a way I can see what fish I need to catch for challenge 10? I have 12 out of 15 but I don’t know what the 3 I need is
I found an owl perched above seamus's barn while I was selling a wagon. it flew off towards the camera as i was driving it in
I can find owls almost every time I would go into Clemens point on the dead tree at the entrance

I am going for this outfit but i guess i cant wear this as Arthur much later on ? Many of these challenges require access to currently in-accessible areas of the game & i am still on chapter 3. I have already completed the satchel upgrades & got the legend of east satchel
There is a spawn point of the owl, in the rocks in front of the shack in Faiwale Xhanty, in there you can farm gold too
As you where talking about the owl I was going to emerald ranch to the fence and a damn owl flew into my horse buell lmaoooo
Omg buellll I completed that challenge set but I went to skin something and he fucking wandered off 😢😢😢😢 I realoaded an auto save but couldn’t get him cos my other save was so far back and I completed the challenge close to chapter 6 anyway

Owl spawn in the crossroad sign to the right of Aurora Basin river in Tall Trees. I found one at night just perched on the sign
I'm lucky I already had a owl feather because I was hunting birds and found an owl killed it . Thought nothing of it then this happend I'm really happy I plucked it too
