Just randomly happened upon this video but it's nice and clear explanation, tho I gotta say that your way for tracking invisible characters is a bit convoluted. What I do is turn on "Use advanced keyboard shortcuts" in the settings tab, then you can just select a token, type "L K" for putting the token on the GM-layer and "L O" for putting it on the object layer. You can also easily switch between layers just by pressing K (for GM-layer) or O(for Object-layer).
This saves a a lot of time, both while prepping and within combat.

Great vid, great tricks. But have a question. When zooming in past 84% the aura ceases to be visible when I move my view to the area where my player token is. When moving away from where the token is (staying in zoom past 84% then it's visible again. Is this just a thing with the tokens in roll20 or is this a setting? Not sure what it is. When zooming out it's fine. I just noticed when playing around with it again, it does not seem to have that issue if I'm selected on the token in GM view. Still happens in player view unless I move my viewing to the spot on the map where the transparent token is located. Then the aura becomes visible again.
