Here is the FIRST season of Eurovision Back and Forth with Max and Cathy
• Eurovision Back and Fo... - Zábava
To be fair, it's pretty much confirmed that "Lasha Tumbai" is a made up phrase they picked to sound like "Russia goodbye". 😂
Yep, and I'm pretty sure that last time he sings "lasha tumbai" he actually says "Russia goodbye". Just listen it and I'm sure you'll agree
Perfect trolling
I'm sorry but It was never confirmed that was "Russia goodbye". Verka laughs to this day about "dumb western people" as she said. It was a nonsensical phrase borrowed from the greatest soviet rockman Viktor Tsoi and his nonsensical song from the 80's called - "Boshe Tunmai"
@@M0joPin yes, it was beautiful trolling 😂
@@BASSOSOVIETICO1987 this is also true. But with the rules of Eurovision he needs to say that. This is why this song is GENUIS
VERKA THE LEGEND :D
I’m happy molitva won that year but verka is amazing
If only Ukraine had sent this in 2008 instead.
@@PhilipWester But it's Ani is perfect already...
@@giorgioooooo418 Yeah, but I think "Dancing lasha tumbai" would've done better than "Shady Lady". And it would've been delicious irony in retrospect Ukraine had "stolen" Russia's only Eurovision win.
It's interesting that they're still laughing so much even when they know what to expect. You can't ever really be prepared for Verka. Also, I love What's Another Year more than Hold Me
2:22 I never noticed the "69" on his back until she pointed it out there.
You have to include this song also in next seasons. I want to see a "first reaction"!
He is ofc singing Russia goodbye 😂 its everybodys favorite dancing song at ESC parties all around
Interesting fact. The singer changed the lyrics to "Russia goodbye" after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. And now he sings this song just like that.
Fact: the star on the head appeared because the artist heard that having something reflective or mirror-like in the clothing could help "reflect" the negative energy. Before that, he had many images with extraordinary headwear, like berets, flowers, flower crowns, etc.
One of my favourite song of Eurovision :) It's fun :)
Очень адекватная реакция! 😁👍
Хорошо, когда большинство людей, понимают и юмор, и стёб
В отличии от некоторых
You should consider reacting to the switch song act from ESC 2019 whenever you have guests that have seen the appropriate acts.
I would watch and watch and watch again all of the react to the switch song! He has to show it to all his reactor friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love these two ladies' reactions...
Eurovision legend 😍
I remember when I first saw this. I was at a party and I thought someone had spiked my drink and I was on an LSD trip gone horribly wrong!!!
Again, I enjoyed their reactions a lot.
Btw, the dress in this act is Dolce Gabana
He is a legend!
This is what we in Europe call a Tuesday
best song eurovision ever
LEGEND
its not satisfying when i know that this is not their first reaction. Because this song can be shocking :)
Too bad we can't see their initial reaction to Verka 🤣 Maybe you should play them Verka and his mother trolling the votes 🤣
BTW. You heard "Russia Tumbai", some Russians heard "Russia Goodbye" and Verka has vanished from Russian TV for a long time since ESC 2007 because of the scandal with that phrase.
Even Verka said it was after Viktor Tsoy's "Boshetunmai"...
Lasha Tumbai pronounced as Russia Goodbye
Real WINNER of ESC 2007 for me
Verka is ESC icon.
Oh you gotta react to Switch song after watching all orginal peformances of them
I need them to react to 1944 so much!
I wished verka won that year, at least they got 2 place
reaction to switch songs? (Eleni - Dancing Lasha Tumbai)
this was one fun funny reaction
So... when will Eurovision Redemption Final reactions happen?
In my mind it says "I want to see Russia and Dubai" 😂😂
VERRRRRRRRKKKKKKKKKKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let’s go Jonny Logan
I'd love it if you showed them songs like
Dansevise - Denmark 1963
Non ho l'età - Italy 1964
Poupée de cire, poupée de son - Luxembourg 1965
Always - Azerbaijan 2009
Still in love with you - UK 2015
...and for the bad sides of Eurovision... (I actually love these, but they're bad.)
100% d'amour - Luxembourg 1984
Quel coeur vas-tu briser? - Switzerland 1967
Cry baby - UK 2003
Leto svet - Estonia 2008 (Okay, don't love this one :,) )
Azerbaijan was done already.. the others I can include in the next season
Oh, sorry! I just found it too :,)
Hallelujah - Milk & Honey - 1979
Ding a Dong - Teach-In - 1975
Apres Toi - Vicky Leandros - 1972
All Kinds Of Everything - Dana - 1970
Puppet On A String - Sandie Shaw - 1967

And "Guildo hat euch lieb" from 1998. A legendary one 😁
"Lasha Tumbai" sounds like "Russia goodbye"
Until today no one ever found out why he sang in German!!??
Sieben, sieben, ein, null, null means:
7, 7, 1, 0, 0
Ein, zwei, drei: 1, 2, 3
...
...
But second place because of the dance...
Yeah, sometimes Eurovision is just a weird circus
That’s what I thought the entire time... but only 7 7 is German then there are some Ukrainian words... check out the written lyrics... I was surprised too
alexandrumic ohhh and I heard something weird! I thought I heard null (0 in German) but he said ai lu-lu....wtf?
Veryyy confusing!
1-2-3 in German, some ai lu-lu Ukrainian, tanze means dance in German...
I read that lasha tumbai was to be sound like Russia goodbye...
Mate, what’s going wrong with Ukrainians?😂😂😂😂😂😂🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Have you played Spain 2008? That was also gimmick act.
As a German I am really interested to know why the Ukraine have used that much German in their song xD
For that European feel.
probably because Ukrainians and Germans share common ancestry like 5000 years ago
Verka initially was the parody for late Soviet and post-Soviet time (the 1990s). During the Soviet time, German was the main foreign language that Soviet pupils learned (not very successful, as hadn't practice but still remember several basic words). Verka underlines that she regards that generation unlike the new one that uses English)
Ah! The Queen Of Eurovision followed by the King Of Eurovision, almost like you planned it 😉😂
Michael Schulte is the queen of Eurovision? :o Well well, how about that for a surprise! ;p
please react to Albania 2010 or 2015
React to Ukraine 2012 pls
2004 Turkey please.. .
2005 Moldova
2008 Armenia
2009 Armenia
2010 France
чому я чую не "лаша тумбай" а "раша гудбай"?😅😅
Please React Something from Armenia maybe 2008 or 2016...🙏🏻🔥🇦🇲
Something is coming!!!
It's not really a true reaction if it's been already viewed, especially recently. Perhaps next time if your camera fails after a first time reaction just let it go. Because honestly it ruins the fun of it. We as viewers like to see your facial expressions etc in your reaction, not just what you have to say. That was completely vacant from this video.
I know Johnny Logan is a Eurovision Legend, but imo he’s overrated. Especially his 1980 and 1987 entries. Linda Martin’s Song in 1992 was good and a deserved winner. Show less known songs from 1980. The songs that deserved to win or place higher. Theater, Cinema, Amsterdam and Bitakat Hob (The only ever African entry) to name a few. This ended up being more of a rant than expected but, I’d rather here lesser known Eurovision songs than winners, icons and famous songs which charged outside of Europe. Your video on Edsilia was great because it was lesser known.
Russia goodbye!
maybe its "Russia goodbye" ,actually?
