I'm a Christian myself and that is no where near how we act. We may disagree with what some people do and or say but we don't belittle them, we stay in their life as a positive force so they will hopefully turn to God.
We don't scream scripture at people and yell at them telling them they are going to Hell. Our God is a gentle God and won't force you to do anything you are not comfortable with.

As a teacher once explained to us: Religious freedom also means you can choose to be free from religion (Religionsfreiheit erlaubt auch die Wahl frei von Religion zu sein)
