Big Congratulations! 👏
Thanks so much!!
What a wonderful adventure and beautiful way to see the country. So proud of you!
Thank you! I know I wish I could show all of what I saw on the bike.
So cool. Congrats!!!!!
Thank you so much!!!!
Great Achievement.
I don’t normally comment on these things but I find your delivery very down to earth and relatable, so I thought I would comment.
Great vids (all of the ones I’ve watched and that’s a few). I’m starting training shortly for IM 70.3 Lanzarote and then a 140.6 after that.
What gear / apps do you use to do your vids? How long do you spend editing them for upload.
Thinking of doing something similar.
Maybe that’s a vid on its own!!!!
Thanks so much! I try to be as normal as I can - the way I think that helps is I just pretend no one watches so I'm honest 😂
I am pretty cheap when it comes to execution - I film everything on my little GoPro with like the small exception I added in a shot on my iPhone. I know people do lots of big fancy things but that works for me.
I do all my editing on iMovie since again it was cheap/free and just came on my computer. Sometimes its glitchy but since its for fun I don't mind.
The editing definitely used to take a while I'd say like 20 hours - but after a bit of practice this last one was a slower one and only took about 6. I just posted one from our trip and did it in just a few hours after work. I try not to be too perfectionist and just myself so it takes away pressure to take endless amount of time editing.
I will say having this to look back as I've trained is really nice I'm looking forward to down the line having these memories to look back on.
Great video, great journey and a really great result. I've enjoyed following along, many thanks to both of you.
Thank you so much! It was so rewarding after all the hard work.
Great video! Great effort! Well done!
Signed up for my first IM to be Copenhagen 2023. Your video is a fun tour of the course! Nice! Thanks!
It's incredible I would do it again! Best of luck with the training!

Such a great race! Would definitely go back.
Great job. I remember you passed me just a few minutes before the finish! We started almost together and finished just a few minutes from each other 💪🏻
Great to remeet you! It was such a fun day out there hope you enjoyed it as well.
Thanks, this was helpful for my upcoming IMCOPENHAGEN ♥️
Its an absolutely beautiful race! It was a one of a kind experience you'll have the best time. just remember race day is the celebration for the hard work to get there
I love the support. "Just take this lap easy"....Yup! Great Job! When I did my duathlon, I ate a banana in transition. Yes, its a race, but it aint that serious...LOL
Right? The race is the reward for tons of hard work I may as well enjoy it - if not why am I out there?
How cold was the water? I did IMMD in 2021 and the water was so warm. The water temperature is the only thing holding me back from doing IM CPH.
It was around 63* F if I remember correctly. I actually was really surprised and thought the same thing then when I started reading it I knew I could do that. I don't tend to mind cold water but did some training first with no wetsuit in open water and I was good.
