Love this. So the bad civilians (aka normal people of Gotham) made a simple, good hearted man into The Joker, Great retelling.....Gotham deserves what's coming till a little boy grows into the dark knight
Yeah. Gotham has a history in all media of being one of the most hellish cities in America.

I got a say the trailer was amazing, honestly I was speechless after seeing the trailer. Just looks like an outstanding performance by Joaquin Phoenix.

My favorite part this about this trailer is that except for the scenes with his mother, every single on of his laughs seemed forced/fake. Not a lot of actors that can transmit that. Joaquin Phoenix is so talented! I smell an Oscar nomination... maybe even an award.

I love Joaquin’s work. Especially in “Her” this looks extremely intriguing, perfect song choice. Reminds me of an indie film, possibly a slow-paced, psycho thriller. The colors really look rough and I like the way it’s shot.
I know Joaquin as the guy that played Kenai in Brother Bear.
Definitely heading into a psychological thriller. I knew it was going to be interesting when they announced Joaquin was going to be the Joker, and now I am even more pleased with the choice seeing as the trailer was phenomenal

This is actually the beginning of the Rewrite for DC films. Right here! Hopefully! The Leto take on joker was officially erased some time ago. So they are indeed beginning a new story buildup at this point. Now all we need in due time, is a worthy Batman for this excellent joker to go to battle with😁

Nice, nice, nice. Cool reaction and dialogue. This movie does look very good. The lighting and cinematography (With that 70's look and feel) add something very genuine, and quite special to this trailer. This is a movie I am now highly anticipating.

Give the man the Oscar already. I saw another reaction mentioning that how crazy would it be if the boy he was putting a smile on was Bruce. That would be insane and something I'd gladly accept even if they screw with the timelines.
It was confirmed last year that a young Bruce was cast for the film, so their mention would be on the right track :)
Joaquin is a good choice for the Joker. Just hope he gets more praise than Leto did

I've watched something like 50 of these reaction videos and not one single person has had a negative reaction. I don't think I've ever seen any other movie trailer that can make the same claim.

Not many trailers ever gave me goosebumps, nor cause me to hysterically laugh with excitement as this Joker Trailer has. We will witness a true supervillain Origins story. This looks so damn amazing, because it's dark, gloomy, and realistic.
Btw, I bet the little boy behind the gate is a young Bruce Wayne. And the Joker may be targeting Thomas Wayne in the movie. Wonder if he will kill them like in Tim Burton's Batman? 🤔

Joaquin Phoenix I Mean really Brought the Joker To Life in This Movie..! Joaquin is a Great Actor, and to always keep people guessing on his persona all the time on who he is.? is what makes a Great Actor..! Like Johnny Depp, 2 Great Actors..! but back too the review..! As a Fan of all the many Jokers portrayed by all the actors who had the Privilege to play The Greatest Villian in the DC Universe, I would have to Rate Joaquin’s performance of the Joker Next to Heath’s Performance.! And We all Know that Heath’s performance was the Greatest right next to Jack Nickelson’s performance.! I think that Jared Leto could of brought out the Joker in him, however he didn’t have enough spotlight to do it. And what I think Jared Leto was trying to do, was Portray is Character to the Original Joker who was played by Cesar Romero, And at that time The Joker was like a comedian, but also a Gangster Joker as well. And I think that, that is what Jared Leto was trying to bring, but he didn’t have enough Screen time and spotlight to do it. Now..? Jack Nickelson brought out the Fan base for the Joker, and his performance was Phenomenal, and his catch line will always be remembered and Never forgotten... “you ever dance with The Devil in the Pale Moonlight.?”. Then we got Heath, then Jared and now Joaquin, but I Call Him “J-QWAUN ”. Like Qwaun “Show Me the Money” Qwaun..! And hey, J-4-Joker..! Now you got “J-Qwaun” LOL... But Ya... Joaquin is a Great Actor with all his movies he has made, and Now If the Movie is as Awesome as The Trailer..? I See an OSCAR with this performance.! Dante (young Bruce Wayne) goes to my school lol (you don’t have to believe me). Haven’t met him yet, but kids say that they hate him for some reason. He’s in 5th grade, hopefully I get an opportunity to catch his autograph.

If you notice how the trailer moves.. first scene he is walking awkward and by the end of it, he is confident and dances on the same stairs! RAD!!!!! That's how you make a trailer.
He's also going up as "Arthur" and coming down as "Joker"

The only time I said "I'm Batman" I feel off the couch and hit my head on the coffee table and had to go to the hospital, I woke up to a nurse laughing at me so I called her the joker.... then I saw the dark knight years later in theatres and that nurse scene with heath gave me chills, almost like the movie was made for me, it was..... I hope this is really good but at the same time I want heath Ledger to be the superior joker forever
