I was like 10 when this came…I thought it was like the best movie ever 😂 But yeah, I was probably a little young to be watching this
@@Ben77788 I was two and my brother was five. He wanted to be Robin Hood for Halloween and my mom made him a costume just like Costner’s.
My parents would never complain about brutal scenes only erotic ones, maybe because I’m from Poland
My mother wanted to hold her hand before my eyes, but I pushed her hand away😉
This has always been my favorite childhood movie!!! I watched it so many times and yet, near the end of the opening titles, I would always brace myself for the impact of the first minutes!!!
When I was a kid, I don't know what scene creeped me out more: the guy getting his hand cut off in this part, the first ceti eel scene in ST 2: The Wrath of Kahn, Dana getting abducted by Zuul in "Ghostbusters" or the scene in Midway (1976) when the cockpit of the fighter one of the main characters is in blows up and he's engulfed in flames.
Miss this movie
My favorite movie as 12 year old child. But after multiple viewings, I noticed a cinematic error; or perhaps an editing error. When Morgan Freeman shouts, "Christian!" he goes from standing up with his hands together, back to having them apart like before, then immediately back to standing with his hands bound together. Always got a laugh from that.
There was so much suffering with Human Life back in those centuries!

It’s amazing that people today think one group of people had it worse than another, like everyone in history had a real bad time. Can’t even exclude royalty, they get waxed bad in every revolution lol.
Morgan Freeman and Alan Rickman really stole the movie.

They didn't care who's hand they cut off your hand his hand both of them they gaves no damns this was one of my favorite scenes in one of my favorite movies just shows stay ready you ant gotta get ready...even though I can see that being kind of hard if you were starving like they probably was up in their of course🗣‼️
