Tbh I still miss her but I'm glad that Michael got to properly say good bye to one of the georgious this time instead of watching her have to "die" again
Amazing how quickly some fun times will cause people to easily forget that an individual they like used to be a genocidal tyrant who *literally ATE people!*
Yep it was way to risky for anyone to know about it....time travel is a risk that even scientists of today are to afraid to follow because one change in the past and history is erased
The Federation already knows that the Guardian exists. In fact many tried during the temporal cold war to use the Guardian for their own ends. It's why the Guardian is on Dannus V and not on it's original planet.
@@steeltimberwolf I know. That’s why Micheal said nothing about the Guardian. She knows it’s a living violation of the Temporal Accords. But she also knows that it has a right to its existence, like everything else in the universe.
I expect the Guardian can more than protect itself. Perhaps it hides to prevent its presence from being a distraction to the game or birth it's observing. In any event, Philipa is dead to them now, apart from the time capsule. ;)
@@G11713 If i knew where the Guardian of the forever was (if he was real) even if it meant it would destroy other peoples lives in the process i would go back in time to when i was a 10 year old child on life support and pull the plug to save that child from a world that would call him a lyer. THiS was a good episode and I know there are a lot of haters but you take away the Mary Sue aspects of Michael Mikey Spock, and Discovery is a pretty good show. Season 3 minus the confines of cannon being so far in the future has been great and season 2 with Anson Mount as Pike, was amazing. Bring on Strange New Worlds.
Everybody in the Mirror Universe are murderous. In DS9 the newly freed people became evil too. Philippa was a highly successful and competent Terran, who tried to change the course of her daughter and Empire after seeing a different way. She helped defeat Control and help save Saru and Tilly. The story redeems her.

I submit that there seems to be a trend of promoting stories about mass murderers being "redeemed" while completely ignoring the millions of people that have died at their hands. Oddly, this only applies to those whose "redemption" includes adherence to the proper ideologies...
The Mirror Universe Phillippa was freaking great!
I just wish that there was a way that the character could have been in more episodes
I'm going to miss her bad ass she killed control and always saved the day
You don't have to miss her. She's leaving the show because she's going to be on a new show centered around Section 31.
Tbh I still miss her but I'm glad that Michael got to properly say good bye to one of the georgious this time instead of watching her have to "die" again
Only thing I would have liked is if at the end they said "to Phillipa, to the emperor" :)
Saru: To Phillipa, the only person I know, who was killed by the same person, twice.
Burnham: Take one for the team... Take one for the team...
To Emperor Georgiou!
l still don't understand why did they have to get rid of Phillipa, l really liked that character and Michael.
Because I think they're setting her up for the still "In development" Section 31 series.
Might have been too much maneuvering to get Michelle Yeoh's schedule to line up with filming.
Michelle is a big star. A series is hard to be tied down to.
She...she ate sentient beings! Cheers huzzah!
Long Live the Empire
TERRA FIRMA!
Uh yeah, a murderer can change i wager.... But ok, outside the lines, great acting Michelle Yeoh!

Did any of these people realize she was basically Hitler?
Yeah. But, she was also the one saving their asses. Besides, that was the OLD Philipa in a different universe.
Alrighty Disco, wrap up the waterworks
Badass girls, all of them, but nowhere near as badass as Michelle, who went toe to toe with Jackie Chan.
Phillipa is what you get when writers try to give you a character like Garak but they don't know how to write.
