New Saddlemen Seat for the Street Bob!!! SAN DIEGO CUSTOMS

I got a new seat from Saddlemen, this is the San Diego Customs version of the Step-Up Seat. This is a unboxing and first look type of review, more to come on this seat once i spend more time on it!

Does it put you closer to the handlebars than the standard step up?

This is the Performance Gripper tough? I heard that the inside is next to the gel piece also has 2 different layers of densitiy what the normal stepup don’t have. Therefor there is with this one on break-in period and is right ready to go

Does it raise you up higher? Also, does is push you more forward or back?

Yeah it puts you a little bit higher and I'd say a little bit further forward.

I wish I did man I'm 6'1 too and I feel the same way, maybe ask saddlemen if they'll do a custom seat with the "wall" a little further back, could help a bunch.

Question, how is the passenger seating on this one vs the the step up. Do they give you an option for the gel pad for the passenger?

I believe they give you the option, I’ve heard it doesn’t help much though. This seat is more comfortable than the regular step up for the passenger, the gripper helps a lot too if you don’t run a sissy bar

Is San Diego Customs a shop? Or model of the saddlemen?

They’re a shop down in San Diego, saddlemen makes the seat but it has San Diego customs logo on it.

Is this seat comfortable for a passenger?

Maybe for about a half hour, definitely not for long rides.
