- Hey everyone! A very special episode this week... A COMPLETE ROMAN POT yayyyy! Can't believe our luck, especially after our other bucket list find of an onion bottle last week And so many other beautiful finds. We really hope you enjoy the video, we certainly had a fun time out there in the mud.

As you found that little roman pot, I did wonder something. Have you ever felt the spirit of the potter has guided you to their work.
Kind of a visual of the potters spirit jumping up and down in the realms of the universe, screaming with joy that his work has been found, enjoyed, loved and treasured 2000 years later. What an ecknowelement of both the potters work and your work in finding it.

I showed my wife Suzan, the previous episode with the Onion bottle and other finds, but I really wanted to show
the pole in the mud, although she loved the other things, as well.
She was startled to see just how deep that stuff is. If it wasn't for those mudshoes and that clay density....wellll.
So now you find a nearly perfect Mini Roman pot, shades of what Simon Bourne found hover crafting a few weeks ago.
He was very happy because, in spite of his years of searching, complete Roman pieces are very unusual.
I have a feeling your special finds are just starting, but seize the day because, as time goes by, I feel your collection will become more esoteric.
You guys are great!

First the onion bottle, then the Roman pot, now is the time to buy a lottery ticket & win the jackpot! Seriously, those are killer finds. I am so jealous. Here in the Pacific NW we seldom find really old bottles. In fact, I consider something from the 1800's and early 1900's"Old & Rare" in my area.
