I still remember the one meme int built hare that made its way into a stream tourney (might have been deluxe cup last year don't recall). 1 life. All in on skill and speed. The Hare named Beans. Like a Metal Slime - shows up, annoys the hell out of you, then runs away, but collapses if you actually manage to land a hit.
I loved Hare in the anime. It's insane to think that despite him being the most intelligent character in the show by far, Intelligence is actually Hare's naturally lowest stat. That said, I love that he has a bunch of cool kung fu moves. Would have loved to see Big Bang in the anime. Now it's time to see how strong Golem and Suezo are!
Heh, the flaming takeoff for Kung Fu Kick makes me think of Sanji's Diable Jambe from One Piece . . . building up flaming eat on the foot and then striking with it. One attack I wish they'd brought over for Hare from MR1 was his Shout and then Wail attacks . . . I loved it when he let rip a battle cry that rattled his opponent like Tiger's Roar right before letting loose with flying fists and feet.
Woot, Hare gang! I remember you talking about this in another video but I appreciate having one focused for reference, which I'll probably use. Thanks much!
Ah Hare, the monster that introduced me to raising monsters properly. Seeing my cousin’s longlived Blue Hare with high stats was an eye opener on so many game mechanics I didn’t know about.
Aw Bacon is so cute! This is a great rundown. Love the reference to the over-the-top jiggle physics. I wonder what the Japanese name for Kung Fu Kick is? Maybe the anime calling it Dragon Kick wasn't too far off.
Pow Tech Hare has to be the most Rawest Build you can do. Like you can literally make Hare do a blood-curdling snarl both to be the Cutest and Threatening sound it makes.
Wouldnt a cocooned 12gr worm be the best? Edit: oops thought you said fairy and leaf hares were 13 lol. So cocooned hare would just be the same as the other 2
I remember hare was the first monster i raised that won one of the major four. That time i have no idea regarding lifespan. They die after a few more battles.
I recently got Monster rancher 1 and 2 for my Nintendo switch. I notice you tend to release more monster rancher 2 videos. Is the first one worth playing,
The first one is a good game! It's just not as fleshed out competitively because the AI in that game is a little goofy. For a player controlled playthrough it's a great entry point to the series and has a lot of specific charm that isn't elsewhere in the series.
3's design for Hare was way better imo when they turned his hands into literal furry boxing gloves, I felt that made him way more unique than just another anthro rabbit (plus it made the design really go all-in on the martial artist bunny idea)
@@Moosebones It's moreso the visual part of his design that I'm talking about and I get that it's *way* more cartoony, (that's undeniable lol) but other than that I've always felt Hare was "just a rabbit" who just coincidentally happened to know martial arts moves in the older games, and adding the literal boxing glove hands adds a bit more goofyness but also serves more to drive home the idea around Hare's character design as a kung fu rabbit, you know what I mean?
At first, I laughed out loud at the "Watership Down" and "Airship Up" gag.... but then I really lost it at Hank Hill! Love the humor as always.

Dude, the NES Bucky O'Hare music. So good. Almost as good as the jiggle physics joke.

Adding beans to my fan game. Hey, do you know what breed of Hare it was?
@@stoneharvey1017 Beans was a purebred Hare iirc. I think he was MachoCheeze's monster.

Heres the suezo one! czcams.com/video/AI4iWQznLHk/video.html
I like to imagine anime Hare being so intelligent is why his gas technique is also ungodly strong lmao
The garnet analogy was perfect 🤣

I am a personal fan of rapid fire jokes so well done.
OMFG the Bloody Roar music
Laughed super hard at airship up. Great rundown!
Alice's theme starting the video made my week!
Quality Production work, Producer Bacon!
Always glad to see another Moose vid.
Hare is one of my favorite monsters to raise! Good rundown
Yo its the monster at the end of the stream intro!
(Bruh telling us to enjoy the Deluxe cup while putting that Joker moment footages is evil)
Tiger and Hare are tied for my favorite Monster Rancher monsters.
Loving those set names
Ah Hare, the monster that introduced me to raising monsters properly. Seeing my cousin’s longlived Blue Hare with high stats was an eye opener on so many game mechanics I didn’t know about.
Ayyy my guy Statick made the video!
Hare might not be powerful, but he is the most clever. By the end of the conversation, you will be indebted to him for life.
It's a shame Hare didn't have a corkscrew blow move or something similar to fit in this banger of a soundtrack at 6:26
Hare is my favorite monster. I beat the game with a Blue Hare I named El-Arairah and had a blast.
Now I don't want to play any other monster
Hell yeah, Hare time!
So, I played monster rancher about...20 years ago now, and just found out that competitive is a thing from your pokemon video lol. Kinda crazy.
Aw Bacon is so cute! This is a great rundown. Love the reference to the over-the-top jiggle physics. I wonder what the Japanese name for Kung Fu Kick is? Maybe the anime calling it Dragon Kick wasn't too far off.
ドラゴンキック - quite literally "Dragon Kick" :)
didn't know this so that's pretty cool
@@Lexichuu_ ah! Just as I suspected!
My favorite jiggly boi! Probably my most raised monster breed.

Cant stop farting after seeing this video
How powerful is undine?
I used to love Hare on MR1. But, it sucks to train them in MR2 because of the playing demands...

What is the music at 2:01?
Green Planet - Bucky O'Hare OST
competitive monster rancher is a real thing???
Yessir
I will forever be upset at the fact that they changed hare in monster rancher 3 and 4, from the adorable yet badass martial artist he was in 2.
at least they kept the mr1-2 design mostly in tact for LINE

@@bubalackgaming8892 i think youre the only one who thinks this lol, hes way more cartoony and flailing and way less of a martial artist

I DID NOT ENJOY THE DELUXE CUP. MY DUMBASS FISH LOST TWICE IN A ROW.
Do a rundown on Undine so I can understand how to play this damn game
You're gonna be mad when I say what her best build is tho.
