Great Content, Neel, as always. Thank you 👍🏻
Glad you liked it!
I was form out for 4 years just because of this things
Now finally i am on 🔥
This video is brillaint
The parts about the extended arm and the bottom hand bring your “paintbrush” is very true. Playing against pace, my biggest weakness was short balls and at the time I had a very tight grip on the bottom hand, so I would have to predict the length. Naturally, I started experimenting with the grip and found that a lighter grip on the bottom hand was more effective
This is an awesome summary of the setup. I was never taught these basics of the setup growing up in Australia. Thanks Raj!
Best tutorial seen so far...
Wonderfull.. Thanku for clearing my doubts regarding Bat grip..😊
Just wonderful. Wish youtube was around when I still played.. My cousins will be seeing this tonight. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very well explained...tq. master ji
That was great, your coaching is awesome, you explain things so clearly
He’s a great coach. Check the other video with Raj on the channel
Excellent explanation, the dungeon & dragons analogy is particularly well used !
Elbow to fine leg while backlift and for spinners to move towards the ball after it drops from the peak was very helpful. I played long time with butcher and painting theory. But what worked for me was holding bat with both hands with equal pressure slight more that painting grip and applying strong grip of top hand for ground shots only while moving the bat towards the ball to make contact. So backlift with front or back foot movement also with soft grip but only while making the contact application of power. While lofted using both hands simulataneously , while hitting lofted shot above the player and in specific or more precise area than top hand pressure applied first and then next fraction bottom hand. Please make more videos on how batters think for ipl games to hit back to back lofted shots when small miss hit can get them out. More about mental and emotional drama of getting out to play those risky shots with ease
awesome tips
Thanks a lot for this magnificent video!!!!
So happy you enjoyed this 🏏

Excellent video, explains the basics very clearly. My 8 year old loved this and helped me to convince him that the right hand is a ‘guide’ 😀
Glad it helped!

But see what chanderpaul and Fawad Alam did...They play with Open stance. What's most important is how ur most comfortable as Andre Russel said
Check where they are at ball release!

What he says the top hand does during swing is very correct. Baseball legendary hitter Barry Bonds says the same thing
In front foot defence of fourth stump line ball played where should bat comes on when we lift the bat,bat comes to the fine leg or it comes to off stump
Sir please make a video on mental thinking while batting and judgeing ball 🙏🙏
Thanks for the suggestion 🏏

Very good Sir
Glad you liked it 🏏
Indian coaches are so insightful
Raj is a great coach
great❤❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed. Plenty more on the channel
My bottom hand grip is very tight due to which my bat face closes and i can play only in long on and long off.
But i wonder if i can get the same amount of power with this bottom hand V grip..
I see a gap between both of your hands while holding bat.
Is it good or it's better to have both hands together?
Excellent explanation of foundation of batting. Without right foundation or basics your batting will not be correct and improving. Iits6 like a house with strong foundation stays for long time.
Glad it was helpful!

🙏🏽🙌🏽
Hou much we flex our knee at the batting time..???
Ayee vedya
My bottom hand v is moves inner edge side plzzzz solution
I am totally against the idea of swinging with a closed bat. It curtails the bat swing and you can’t u weight the bat. You should swing with high hands and a slightly open bat. Helps unweight the bat. And you should also lead with your head and shoulder and not feet/bat. Also the first thing we teach children after the grip should be the swinging of the bat. Bat swings are mostly wrong even in international cricket.
Before watching vedio 8 runs in 28 balls ...
After watching vedio 28 runs in 9 balls thanks ♥️
Nice work!
How to improve drive shots
Coming soon on the channel 🏏
Talking about the length of the spinner from 7:50 to 7:55 in the video, you referred a spinner bowls a "good length ball, full ball, or a short ball" so how does that change in the case of medium pace or pace bowler? Please do not advise playing without protective gears as kids are seeing your video and there are chances of injury. It is my take that if I can go close to the ball where the ball cannot take the edges then why block it, that ball is the perfect ball to be hit for a four or six. I would rather hit the cobra on the chin and knock it down..lol...
There will be balls which you can reach with your top hand but can’t drive but defend and hence smothering is necessary. If you can reach it obviously you will drive it.
The spinner’s three types was to make sure you don’t cloud your mind but keep it simple as people complicate things the moment they think spin.
If someone is that stupid that they go and play without protection it is their call.
Sir how to fokas ta ball prafectly please a vedio
Soon!
Great , I been doing wrong for a long , thank you ❤
You got this!
Gap between two hand is it correct another coach tell it is wrong

Shivnarine Chanderpaul Left the chat 😂😂😂😂😂
sir plz post in hindi
But if I take bat up that much how will I play against fast bowlers?
Rohit Sharma hit many sixes but his bat grip is different i think....plz make a video about Rohit Sharma grip .. everyone wants to know that sir😢😢
Who never play good cricket.. will become good coaches and mentors😂😂
Omg.
Aakash Chopra mentor
I personally feel Gary Palmer’s technique is much better and also this guy does not emphasize on trigger moment. In this video there is a kind of contradiction to what Gary Palmer says about open stance .
This video is for those who want to correct there technique not for those who want to just hit six
Most of the international batsmen play with their right hand as their butcher hand. Technically left hand should be but in practice, we see it rarely.
Name a few cricketers who hold the bat with their left hand as the butcher's hand.
Forget about stance or setup ... just look at Steve Smith or Lance Klusener Batting ... very unorthodox but so effective & popular 🙂 all we care is score runs that can have an impact on game!
Kush nahi vai online sports week ki tayri kar rahi hu 😆😆
With such a high back lift you are in trouble with a Yorker length
I don't know about your back swing it's too high... very little margin for reaction time or error
I love Tennis cricket ❤
KARNATAKA KINK KL RAHUL
Never heard of this Raj Chowdhry😠😠
Bad stance no push back
