There's a theory about this ending that, instead of being Peter who transitioned to Angela doing the killing, that it was actually the real Angela who survived the boat accident and had been living in the woods around the lake for years. Which is one hell of a reach.
I actually like that theory. Since Ricky said that Angela/Peter was still locked up in the mental institution.

One of which is where the hell was Angela from the time her suspected death to this movie.
She was what 8 at the time of the boating accident. In order for this theory to be true then it implying she survive on her own since then as It made clear in the first film she wasn’t with her aunt as if that was the case the aunt would not have needed to force her brother to be a girl as she would have had Angela.

The only time I pitied anyone in this movie was when the frogs died.
I know that was really sad
Like 15ish years ago in highschool we were still vivisecting frogs. The teacher would pith them (stick a needle in their brains) which was supposed to make them not feel pain. My groups had to be re done since it clearly was feeling us cutting it open. The idea was to see their exposed heart beat, but like, man we were just teenagers in biology class not young adults in college going into a field where that might have been useful. Everyone dreaded it all week and no one felt good about it after class. I believe they stopped doing it a few years later. I don’t have a problem with dissection, started on cows eyes in 2nd grade, worms in 7th. Actually I think those worms were alive too. Fucking vivisection

Our school was next to a prison, like literally less than 100m, when ever year we’d have escapes our teachers would just tell us to be careful on our walk home. When we got that 90s drug education the cops just passed around every single drug in a bag so we could identify them. I was like 7 passing crack cocaine to the student next to me. I don’t hate the 90s, they were fun as shit. I’m a parent now, not sure I’d go the same route, but they gotta live and learn to an extent. I just don’t know where that is. We were in far more danger because of the livestock we were put on too young than we were of the escaping prisoners. To this day I root for them. Fuck all why your there, much like the horses, I understand the desire to run free.
