In this video we're giving you a full high-definition cleaning, features and review of the FN Five-seveN. This is a really unique firearm that fires the 5.7x28mm round, which is more like a rifle round than a handgun round.
The lightest pistol i have and I love conceal carrying it. With the new 5.7 rounds on the market it makes it great for carrying or at home. With a good holster you can easily carry a full size very lightweight pistol with 20 rounds on tap. Very accurate
MK1 57 is hands down one of if not the best looking pistols in the world and got to love that 5.7 cartridge
And it can kill anything on the continent with a shot to the head.
Just an FYI, at 5:32 you say “striker fired system” which it isn’t. It is hammer fired, however it is concealed. Thus a concealed hammer fired system. Other than that pretty nice video.
Why you didnt oil the inside?
Thank you for this video
very helpful, thanks
What's the reason for staying away from the firing pin assembly?
Good video
Didn't see you do any type lubrication too it after you cleaned it ??
We often don't add any additional oil to the firearm, since many of our firearms stay in the safe a good portion of the time, and we don't want oil pooling anywhere in the firearm. Secondly, excess oil can attract more dirt to the gun, so if you do choose to lubricate your gun, just a light coat of oil or CLP will do; usually a drop on the finger works fine. We realize that opinions do vary on this subject, and recommend that each person apply what they determine to be the correct lubrication.
Looking for a nice holster for my 57,, any options???
Jm4 tactical. I love mine
How about the lubrication. The most important part
Just sold mine for 1300.00 I paod a 1000.00 new. I had several msfires with it, can't carry with confidene. I like the weight, 5.7 round isn't cheap.
Did you use coated rounds? Thanks
@@augustceasar1744 it’s a reliable gun
No oil on the gun ??? Thats second most important
👍😎🖐

Why would you need to pierce Kevlar
@ItalianBrownsFAN shame FN weakened the civilian version.
Same type of question as “why would anyone need a gun”
ItalianBrownsFAN obsidian black fang by vanguard. Wouldn’t want to be hit with those darts...
Good Fractals Poker agreed
Cost?
The FN Five-seven has an MSRP of about $1,400, but some shops have them around $1,200.
*Nah I seen some at $1,033.99 that's with military and law enforcement discount and $1,175.00 without it.* well what do I know I'm not old enough to get one yet. Even tho I'm in the military Im not old enough to buy pistols. Just gotta wait till my 21st birthday
I just got one on "Black Friday" pricing at $1100. I also bought all the store's ammo for it (they gave me $10/box off to help "move the gun"). This was only the second 5.7 I had seen (live, in captivity:-) since they were released to the market. I hadn't ever really thought much about them but I'm finally at a financial point (and age) that I don't have to justify gun purchases anymore.
Forgot to mention that my pistol came with 3 twenty round magazines; I'm in a very gun friendly state!
Big AL ruger released a pistol chambered in 5.7
Mk11 not 1
Does that big ass clunky gun fit in a Urban Carry holster?
Sure does, the Five-seveN goes into our COLONEL size G2.
Stormin Norm G-Works : Clunky ? Really 👁.
I bought the Palmetto state armory 5.7 Rock. It came w 10 steel 23 round mags and soft case. It shoots just as well or better than the FN at a fraction of the cost.
Ppl should get on board w PSA. they are reliable. The prices are bound to go up
