It's Ron for Ron Perlman.
This, this right here
Had he been holding a frozen banana I might have sided with Falcon’s assessment.
Who doesn't know Ron Perlmans voice. He's been in WAY too many movies to not have heard it at least once or twice.
I'm amazed they didn't catch that
Who has been narrating Fallout since 1998.
It's incredible you thought Ron the Narrator was a reference to AD and not Ron Pearlman...the narrator.
For real I am shocked that this channel didn’t know Ron Perlman was the narrator, especially because they have mentioned this fact in prior fallout videos…
@@lawrencetalbot8346 gameranx credibility shattered
Sometimes I think they say things incorrectly or insane to drive engagement.
@@fidget2739 makes sense
you mea🙃n that cat yea
There is a dancing alien hidden in every level of Bears in Space, I spent about half a day animating that thing based off the classic 90's dancing baby. The secret itself was a bit inspired by the hidden Cheese Wedges from Perfect Dark!
Actually, “Ron the Narrator” is a reference to Ron Perlman who is the narrator for both the intro slideshow as well as the epilogue.
And most of the games, he just didn't narrate 4, he's the news anchor, though.
I was upset he didn't do the intro on the first episode of the show. Really the only thing that upset me about the show lol.
Filthy casuals don’t even understand the Pearlman easter egg smh
@@SkankHunt007 You another one of those gaming snobs?
@@secondchance6603 I feel like that was sarcasm but you never really know
Vault 120 seems based on Bioshock. All they need is Sentry Bots roaming around called "Big Daddy".
Nah, mate, mind the copyrights. Here are a few options: Large Papas, Huge Patriarchs, Massive Poppas, Enormous Fathers, Colossal Breeders, Immense Old Men, Sizable Dads, Padres Gigantes.
@@TheDarkestSmurf I vote for "Padres Gigantes"
They were supposed to have a giant squid as the overseer. Ah I really want to see it. The 76 update has me bummed out right now.. I refuse to play it. Yea I know I'm being stubborn
@@TheDarkestSmurf I was thinking the copyrights is why it didn't make it in the final cut of the game anyway
@@TheDarkestSmurf MegaPappi
Come on!
Ron the Narrator I would say refers to Ron Perlman who is the narrator for the game.
There is a secret Dancing Alien in every level of Bears In Space, some are realllllly tough to find. But that isn't even the most secret secret to find...
There’s no multiple devs for Animal Well. There was one, Billy Basso. He wrote the engine, did the art, did the voices that were cut, did the music, did the sounds. He made the entire game. It’s crazy impressive what he accomplished.
That Vault 120 is definitely giving off some Bioshock vibes. With the video content playing, I'm surprised Falcon didn't at least mention it.
He didn't know, because he's not actually a gamer.
For some reason, many game journalists aren't gamers. Even though the average person would think writers should be able to comprehend what they're writing about.
Got a bunch of Anton Ego journalists out here, writing on the very topic they either despise or refuse to understand.
Ok there @@ZestonN
I wonder who "Ron the narrator' is... must be some random guy named Ron who is unrelated to the game. there is no way it would be a reference to the narrator of the game... of that cutscene... the guy named Ron Pearlman... nah, it must be some other random guy named Ron.
Not sure if this is some kind of joke that completely missed the mark... or if its just engagement bait for the algorithm, getting thousands of people to comment on how obvious its supposed to be Ron Pearlman.
Falcon is not even close to being witty enough to make an ironic joke feigning ignorance, he just really is that confidently incorrect. Not the first time, and guaranteed won't be the last.
He and the writer clearly aren't fallout fans, and that's fine but I wish they didn't write their scripts in a way that makes it feel like Falcon knows what he's saying.
Falcon's true passion is American politics, actually. That's what most of his personal channel is about.
Pretty much every Falcon-narrated video has at least one f-up that is so obviously wrong to everyone else that it must be engagement bait.
7:30 the dancing alien is from the Dancing Baby gif
as well as the peruvian "alien" found a decade ago, that was shown in Mexican congress last year
Came here to point this out. It was one of the first "viral" gifs and made even more famous by the show Ally McBeal.
@@Rickticles wasnt a gif
its was a backgroup clip you could post to your desktop
Yeah, I saw that right away. It seems we're at the point now where people are forgetting the first memes and viral videos.
Dang diggity Falcon. You just got flamed over that Ron Perlman reference 🤣🤣🤣
I cannot fucking believe you didn't pick up on Ron Pearlman lmfao. I thought you were joking
Gameranx is like the loyal friend who never fails to show up
🤝
Forget Ron the Narrator is a reference to Ron Perlman, everybody starts demanding you turn in your gaming license.
Ron the Narrator is definitely for Ron Perlman, you know, the narrator since Fallout 1
7:40 that's the fuckin alien they showed in court lmao
That alien from bears in space looks like the alien from Mexico.
and the way he is dancing is a common meme in latin america!
Its the bones in cloth doll that was twice fooled the media.
@@arturocaracheo87 The dancing reminds me of the Dancing Baby that was in an episode of Alley McBeal in the late 90's.
@@LonewolfOfSD my thoughts exactly. Came here searching for this comment 😁
The super real Alien.
that dancing alien from Bear in Space looks like that alien they tried to pass off as real to the Mexican government a few years back.
and the dance is a reference to the 'ooga jaga ooga ooga' dancing baby meme from the 2000's. im stumped how falcon didnt get this reference in his 30's, lol.
@@Ori_Ovadia my man, I came here to say this lol.
I thought it was a reference to Ally McBeal’s dancing baby.
@@KniteOwls it is! but they arent the source of that baby meme.
@@KniteOwls Ally McBeal used the meme dancing baby GIF as source.
The best secret rooms we were never meant to find have not been found yet.
that dancing alien is the Peruvian "alien" that was recently shown in Mexican congress. the dancing animation it does is a reference to the 3dCG dancing baby animation from the late '90s or early 00's; whenever that was. it was like the original 3dcg demo
Exactly this! We hid one super real alien in each level, some get reallllly tough to find.
Thanks for the daily entertainment gameranx🙏
Ron the Narrator isn't Rob(*Ron) Pearlman?
Yeah Falcon messed up badly on this one
I constantly ask myself, as I smoke my pipe in my carpet slippers, what IS a vault but a series of rooms?
Jake: Falcon, you need to generate more comments on your videos.
Falcon: I got you... "Is Ron the Narrator Ron Howard?"
Comment section explodes.
I like it when you guys talk about the more obscure games in these lists, like thanks for introducing me to shadow tower at #2.
Number 6 is the dancing baby meme from the 90's but as an alien.
Was that a damn Mr Frog Falcon intro
Damn 8 million subscribers, amazing
I was about to furiously type 'It's Ron for Ron Perlman, you featherbrained bird' But then I scrolled down and saw that half of the planet are already kicking your ass for it, so I won't bother 🤣
Yet here you are yapping
why so many people expect a bird to know these things…
@@cameronpritchett8300 Sarcasm is not your strong point is it?
@@billyrattlesticks6949 half of this is not sarcasm 😑 f*ck you
This remind me of hidden room in World of Warcraft. It was located near Karazhan. You had to use some tricks to enter inside. And in the crypt you could find piles and piles of bones. But at some point you would get to the room filled with water. If you go underwater you would see huge chains .People were hang there and left to drown . Room with huge chains was called The Upside-down Sinners. I only went inside once like 15 years ago and never again :) Maybe its time to check if its still there
7:30 I think that is the dance from that CGI Dancing Baby Meme from 1996. I think it it called the "Oogachacka Baby" or something.
Ron Perlman is shaking his head, right now...
The Bears in Space reference is the Oogachaka Baby, one of the first viral internet...things?
The dancing alien in Bear in Space is doing the Dancing Baby dance from the 1990s
There's supposedly at least two more layers to Animal Well's secrets. Like the bunny/manticore puzzle wasn't crazy enough.
That alien is doing the CG Baby dance in Number 6. Old lil thing that got popular for a bit. Think it was first shown on the show Ally McBeal.
I love the hidden minecraft easter egg in borderlands 2
Baldurs gate barn.... with the two Ahem....... ya know. ❤🎉😮
I know exactly what you're talking about. That part was hilarious.
Not very hidden or secret though
I don’t understand. They love having parties in barns? Can someone explain, please? Feel free to include every detail. Pass nothing over. I just need to get a… firm grasp on what we’re talking about here.
@whatdoesthisthingdo don't want to spoil. Guess you're going to have to get to the "bottom" of it yourself.
@@ModestPavement Ha! Nice!
Fallout was Ron PERLMAN who's the narrator. (Yes, I added it just like everyone else because I adore Perlman and will mention him whenever possible. :D )
Gameranx should do a collab with BoundryBreak one day to discuss the greatest secrets and eastereggs in videogames of all time that would be an awesome video
Was the Ron thing a joke? I thought it was common knowledge that the voice over work was Ron Pearlman. War. War never changes.
Ron the Narrator is referencing the VO for the narrator of the intro, Ron Pearlman 😂
The dancing alien has to be the dancing baby from Ally Mcbeal! The one who dances to hooked on a feeling.
Bro how could you not tell that is clearly supposed to be Ron Perlman? 🤣
The dancing skeleton/alien baby in the bear game seems to be the dancing baby from like the 90s that would just boogie around to the song "hooked on a feeling"
FUTURAMA THE GAME REFERENCE!? I have never heard of this secret before. The gasp I gusp.
Vault 120 would have been AMAZING in Fallout 4. I always wanted more underwater stuff (who else goes randomly diving underwater, just to see?) and a giant squid Overseer? Yes please!
0:12 Definitely wasn’t ready to see Falcon with a body. 😂
Could we please get a night mode for the number countdown screens, my eyes are tired of being flashbanged
It's been discovered that the great one beast's attack effects are the same as the orphan of kos, when the links are repaired, the great one beast is shrouded in lightning, and calls down lightning strikes, which is why it hurts you by just existing if the visual effects aren't there.
Animal Well was done by just one guy, that Billy you're hearing.
Animal Well is one of my games of the year. Awesome game.
The Debug Room for Skyrim is pretty interesting. It's a room filled with cases containing every weapon and armor in the game.
You'll need access to the debug menu (of course) and a code. Some mod creators use this room for it's resources.
Falcon really doesn't know much...😂
Why don't you dance with us
How i dance: 7:28
9:07 The voice actor's name is literally Ron Pearlman bro..
I feel like you're fuckin with us lmao
The narrator keeps saying what sounds like “Devs” on Animal Well. Animal Well was develop by only one dev(singular) named Billy Basso.
The reason for FF&'s Debug room being Hades is because the game was shipped in a barely stable form. The thing was being held together by the code version of bailing wire and bubble gum. Debugging the game when they finally got it stable would have undone everything they had worked for. And speed runners love Bugged content because it works to their advantage.
Never underestimate the power of people trained to expect well-hidden secrets, especially in large groups
The FF7 room seems like a code repository. I work in engineering design and this looks like an asset library, but for code in a visual format. Want a section of code that will make an interactable 'floor' trigger for a coordinate on the map? Then take the code chunk for the floor seen in that Hades room, and insert it where required and modify the prompt/response/coordinate to suit the situation.
How do you not know about Ron Pearlman?!?!?!??!?!!?!
Everyone in the comments... RON FUCKING PEARLMAN!!!
The underwater vault was clearly made to resemble Bioshock.
He knew it was Ron Perlman. Saying it was a reference to some show gets the comments flowing 😂
Thank you for posting new videos so often 🤍
I remember first looking at what we now call RE1.5 in a gamepro issue when I was a kid but actually playing it is like looking at some alternate reality world where this was the actual RE2 release.
Bethesda: yeah guys so you know that vault that's underwater and looks awesome like a fallout version of rapture? Yeah take that shit out
the little dancing alien is making fun of the alien they found in mexico thats been a meme in everything even cod mw2 warzone
The Dancing alien could be a reference to smiling friends. Pim even mentions in the show that the Alien "does a cool spin".
The dancing alien looks to be a homage to the dancing baby phenomenon of 1996
I vaguely remember Capcom making Elza Walkers motorcycle outfit an alternate costume for Claire in Resident Evil 2. Was this real life or some half-baked fever dream?
Dude watching that alternate resident evil, reminded me how good music was in some of the classics
FF7 debug room, you dont actually need any extra items to enter, you can do it pretty easily on PC. There is even a speed run category for using the debug room
I miss your angry and fed up videos already. lol
I love how they purposely put that part about arrested development in just so people would go crazy in the comments and boost the engagement on this video.
It's not exactly a "room we weren't supposed to find", but Hidden Palace from Sonic 2 (not 3K) came to my mind.
The "dancing alien" is doing the "dancing baby" dance that became popular in the early days of the internet and showed up on the tv series Ally McBeal.
The best dance
4:46 I caught what you did with the music here. Good move 😏
the alien is doing the dancing baby dance. so probably an nod to the dancing baby.
I want an oldschool Final Fantasy that's all weird shit like this. The entire game. That would probably be the best FF they've released in over a decade.
9:41 definitely Ron the narrator because Ron pearlman was the narrator for fallout lol but I like your answer too.
One of the more famous video game narrators ever in Ron Perlman... and you went with Ron Howard...
Perhaps explore making your count-down-screens dark instead of light. It’s jarring to watch your videos in the dark. PS love the vids.
The alien in #6 looks exactly like the aliens they showed in the news a little while back.
as a long time fan of games and futurama i find it insane that i never knew there was a futruama game until now....
The dancing alien is doing dance that the dancing baby did from 1996
@7:30 it looks like that alien is doing the dancing baby animation from the 90's internet gif.
Sometimes, I watch these videos and the editing frustrates the hell out of me
12:10
A modern pokemon game has never thought that an opening was too slow
This might be nitpicking but the majority of the Chalice Dungeons are fixed. Only the Root Chalice Dungeons are randomly generated. That might be why you're finding them repetitive. 😂
The dancing alien appears to be doing the dancing baby dance from the show _Ally McBeal_ .
Dunno if this has been mentioned but I think that dancing alien is doing the dancing baby routine from the late 90s
I’ve never even played New Vegas and I instantly could tell the reference was about Ron Pearlman lmao
…falcon doesn’t know who Ron Perlman is??
THE HARDEST EASTER EGG
and probably the most convoluted is from BF4. The Dice Camo.
some parts of it are different every time you try it. I'm not gonna go into details bc it would take me an hour just to write down what you need to do. but I'm gonna tell you JACKFRAGS has a video on his channel called
Illuminati Easter Egg - Battlefield 4 secret camo.
good luck with that one 👍👍👍
Isn't that alien doing the CGI baby dance from the 1990s?
Falcon did know that was a Ron Perlman reference, however he trolled us and this resulted in a lot more comments on the video. Good tactic, Falcon 😉
In fallout 4 when doing the vault 81 quest to find the cure you can also clip thru the walls where the 2 way mirrors are supposed to be and on the other side is the NPC's talking to each other in a dark room.
Number 1 is nowhere NEAR convoluted enough for die hard secret junkies who discover that la mulana hell temple without a guide to have to spend a year to find it.
