- I built a quick and dirty outboard stand this evening.
Cut list is at the end of the video, it's a very simple and strong stand i'm going to use to repair my little Yamaha that was kindly donated by my mate Simon.
simple and intuitive, nice job!
Love the helmet!👍
Simple my a*se, all this equipment and perfect wood.
You shouldnt talk about your ass like that
@@SailingYachtZora I talked about my arse! Not my ass! That donkey doesn't carry any blaim! :-D
Anywho,... nice stand, but you did use a lot of tools that regular office workers like me, do not have and if I would buy them, my wife would?... Not kill, but... hmm...
😂
I'm an office worker too dude, have you got Lidl where you live? Those tools whe they come available are really good. Most of my tools are lidl
Great thinking on the fly! Love the safety test. Looking forward to your next video.
Thanks mate.
The safety first Action is the most important. Don't forget the helmet. I love the English humor and I love your vids.
Thanks mate. i do enjoy ripping on H&S...
Quick and simple seems to be the way to go!
Ha! Love it.
That'll work! Thanks for the video.
Love the safety equipment LOL!
I wasn't taking any chances!
You're a funny guy! I've been enjoying your vids for a while now. Also think it's funny, that you use standard '2 x 4', then use mm for the measurements. Thanx and keep up the good work!
haha thanks mate... the joys of a mixed up measurement system :D All timber here is measured in inches then in mm for length... unless i'm just making it awkward for myself!
Safety Sally is most impressed
That's why has to horde some scalp materials , constructive hoarding !
Finding Simon brought me to your channel. Subbed and look forward to seeing your videos.
Simon seems like a real gent. Thanks for joining us :)
Yes, he's supercool, and a hard worker. I support my CZcams video makers by watching (ads also) and hitting that like button. I love watching people build things, and rarely watch T.V. anymore. I am entertained here and learn so much :-)
i agree , youtube is way better :)
LOL funny man :D Great stuff!
Yes dude, I've come over from the Acorn to Arabella channel
pleasure to have you
Hey Rhys what boat yard are you set up in? Im in the market for a project boat and there seems to be a lot of potential in the background of your videos ? Keep at, it great videos!
shoot me an email and we can chat mate.
Bloody hell that didn’t look like “scrap” wood.
It was just left over shite i had from other projects. So i guess to me it's just scrap timber :)
When did full length 2x4s become scraps??
Anyway nice and to the point
They are left overs from another project so scrap to me i guess
How will you run it? Needs space for a bucket no?
It mounts the other way for the bucket.
Ah multi purpose, I like it
We used to use a 55 gallon drum with the top cut off, and a 2x4 under the outboard clamps for test running.
Good advice .. Thank you was wondering how to set up for my 6hp
Now there is a blast from the past tranni van
Isn't she a beauty?
Frantic Sailing Adventures I'd love to have it, i used to have a Mk1 landliner with a very torquey V4 engine in it
This one is actually a camper as well. they restored it a few years ago!
Sorry.... Coffee is first... safety is more like 2nd or maybe 3rd... But I'm building this now too. (After coffee)
Hope it goes well mate!
Where are you originally from? How long have you been in cork. Did you get your coins yet
london but im here with 22 years at this stage.. so by default in from Cork :P
Glue is completely unnecessary..I’ve built one with just using screws...solid as..
WHO THE FUCK MEASURES WOOD IN MILIMETERS
Sorry I should have used American digeridoos 🤣
Pretty sure that was at least a two person lift. The reckless and disregard for person safety is appalling. For shame! 😝
We like to live dangerously out west :D
