Nice. good job brother 👍
I made this boat motor stand and it works great! Thanks for sharing this!
That reminds me of when I started making the roofing system for my tiny house. I know a kicker with out a boat is a hard thing to handle. Good job.
After handling it to get it to the mechanic, I knew I needed something to manage it. Thanks chud
Thank you. I used your design but with 2x6s since that was the wood that I had lying around. Nice build.
Nice Job I love the Break down cross bar shop space is always a problem for me . My out board is 200 hp at 375 so Ill just go to two six or eights Thanks again Ben
Thankyou for showing how to make that engine stand with wheels... I made one for my Johnson/Evenrude 80hp 2-stroke outboard.
great video Im going to build a replica this saturday for my new outboard. thank you so much!
Thanks Tom
Super clear and easy explained 😃👍
Looks good, nice woodshop 👍
Thanks Alex, sorry I’m just noticing this.
Ok...where do I start? 1. How close were you on the motor dolly height to the transom? 2. Is the motor lake ready? 3. How are the decks coming on the boat. 4. Did you get the gash in the hull fixed? 5. Are you going to sell tickets to the launching? 6. What did it cost you to get Mrs. Billof Rights to help you in the last video? Big thumbs up on the motor dolly build. I need to build one myself. Good job Bud!
My final guess was 38, actual was 36. Motor is supposed to be lake ready. Fixed gash, been framing the decks this “whole” weekend. Tons of thinking and hours of labor.
Very nice job, thank you.
Thanks Joseph
i used saw horse brackets for a lite duty ie not heavy outboard. but for my 25 hp ill go by your method. thanks
Thanks Bob, I was very pleased with how useful this stand was for my project
Great job man I just got my first outboard yesterday and this helped me so much , have plenty scrap wood for this also . Pretty slick too how you glued then screwed definitely makes it easier when your working alone . One question I have is what spray were you using when you were brushing it at the end ?
I’m pretty sure it was engine degreaser. Thanks and good luck with your project
Great job and vid. Did you use the locking casters?
Didn’t use locking. I don’t remember that every being an issue, thanks Bill
Cool deal the last house i lived in had a Wooden fence around the property i thought that was for hanging my outboard motors from ?
cool but where is your hearing protection?
Never wore any, funny I hear just fine. Do you wear them everywhere you go?
Easy? I can't do this in a week. My honk stopped working and I am panicking now : ) I wish u were my neighbor : )
You would likely have me out fishing so much I’d get nothing done. Thanks Victor
@@borfishing7690 i would just add to your watch list 🥱
PRO!
is that a Trooper Bumble Bee tri-hull boat in the background? Looks 90's.
Hi Brian, it’s a 1978 Bassmate. Thanks
@@borfishing7690 Ahh. It looks like mine. Has that rounded top edge that makes attaching pole holder reinforcements fun. I am making my boat stand. Thanks for the video.
Nice shop. I see all that padding and stuff , Must be a upholstery shop :-) What was wrong with the motor ?? ( I must have missed something along the way )
Hi Brooks, the motor needed lower seals, head gasket and ignition work. Yep, upholstery shop. Thanks
