My great grandmother on my father's side had a house in Hong Kong with a goth apothecary vibe. She was the first one in the city to adopt the style - it's still there and as beautiful as the day it was built.
Agreed... and that's what makes her a superior designer: She creates rooms that reflect the taste and style of the homeowner. Too many designers are too focused on forcing their personal style onto their clients, or they get lazy and just design with the current trends. Emilia keeps the homeowner front and center... always.

Aside from the misuse of the word "Gothic," I'd say this space borderlines on perfection. The color palette is gorgeous. (Also, major bonus points for not adding the standard white/cream/ivory sofa.) When can I move in?

What a gorgeous space! I always like her work. And may I add (on a really petty note), there is a dramatic reduction in the vocal fry and rising intonation at the end of every sentence. It was getting out of hand. Not with just this designer but with so many on this channel. I don’t know if she used a vocal coach or just changed it on her own but it was nice.
This is a pretty space and looks livable. I never understand why designers on this channel try to buy custom when the thing that they get made already exists. Unless there are less options in Canada, it just doesn’t make sense.
