  • In this video you are riding in a General Electric EMD GP40-2 Locomotive. The entire video is in cockpit mode.
    The map used to create this video is very active and includes a lot of interesting scenarios. Included in the map are large cities, several freight yards, an operating quarry, a scenic lake, and a lot of traffic with large ships, a busy airport, and diverse road vehicles. And of course trains, trains, and more trains!
    This video uses a large number of mods. Thank you to all of the mod makers who make Transport Fever a better game!
    Here is my channel with more videos from the game Transport Fever:

      Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. I was thinking about doing a Pennsylvania Railroad based video sometime. The GG1 would look good with that.

    Hey General Tso, does this game had an E-bell?

    • @General_Tso
      @General_Tso  Před 4 lety

      The standard game doesn't have that type of bell. The locomotive used in the video comes from a mod. That mod uses the e-bell. I forget which was the exact mod that I used. But if you search for General Electric EMD GP40-2 in the Steam workshop. You can probably find it. Some of the other mods in the Workshop also have modified horns. Including some e-bells.

      Thank you. I'm glad you like the video.
      Unfortunately I don't have a list of mods. I'm using over 300 with this map and the only way I that I could get a list would be to write them all down.
      All but a 10 of the mods came from the Steam Workshop for Transport Fever. The rest came from here: www.transportfever.net/filebase/index.php/Filebase/?s=bfcd6a854911c2e7ec89b46341c5e7e29dd84c52

      @@General_Tso I have about 220 mods. A lot of the ones you have from what I see, just look for the American truck asset so I can just place them where I want, have the foreign truck asset pack. Thanks for your help.

      @General_Tso  Před 4 lety

      That's the way that mod works. As far as I know real life trains work that way to.

    What is the locomotive that you are using?

    • @General_Tso
      @General_Tso  Před 5 lety +1

      The in game description is "EMD GP40-2 BNSF". It's a black and orange engine with the BNSF logo on the side.
      I'm not absolutly certain but I think it came from this mod:

    What mod type you're using to control train speed ??

    • @General_Tso
      @General_Tso  Před 5 lety +2

      I used a small mod I made myself that had multiple tracks of the same type but with different maximum speeds. Then I just placed the slower track in areas where I wanted the train to slow down. In some places I had to do it in steps to make the speed decrease look real. Like this: Normal speed track -> 50 mph track -> 40 mph track-> 30 mph track-> station.
      The last time I checked there where several mods on Steam that do the same thing. I just created my own mod with the exact tracks and speeds I needed so that I didn't have to scroll through extra stuff in the game.
      My memory isn't certain but I think this is the mod I used before creating one for my own purposes. This mod should do what you want but be warned that it adds a lot of track options to the build tracks menu. So you will usually need to scroll to find the track you want when laying track.
