Great interview jack. Schnitz is for sure a og in the game. He is so humble too. I have bought parts from them for over 20 years now. Alot of dragracing history on that wall.
I know ryan he tuned my busa a way back really nice and down to earth guy
Hands down one of my favorite videos of yours!
Ryan Shnitz was like an idol for me through my younger years, especially when i first got on my "Stock Wheel-Base" Lowered GSXR600....even now almost 20 years later Ryan is still an inspiration.
In my opinion Ryan was and still is, hands down, THE GREATEST Stock Wheel-Base/No Wheelie-bar rider that the motorcycle Drag Racing world has ever seen. I miss that class "600 SuperSport" dearly....i remember watching him at the "AMA/Prostar" 2002 Sunshine Nationals go something like 9.63 on a Lowered/Stock Wheel-Base/Kawasaki Zx6r!!!!!! That is just unbelievable. He had like a 6th sense or some god given natural feel for launching a stock clutch street bike.
Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of great talented riders that came up in those SuperSport classes like J. Teasley, Rick McWaters, Chip Ellis, Eddie Kraweic, etc. etc. But i always just saw Ryan Shnitz as a cut above the rest.
Cant wait to see how good his sons might be.
Anyways, thanks for the video bro, GO CYCLEDRAG!!!!😎
Thank you for watching. What is you all-time favorite sportbike and why?
@@cycledrag absolutely man, always love your videos. Your channel is really the only one that doesn't just post videos of certain races but actually gets and videotapes interviews with the big names in motorcycle drag racing. I remember you from the "Prostar" days lol, man those were the good ole days. But anyways, if I truly had to pick just 1 sport bike as my all time favorite, there really isn't anything that tops the 1983 GS1100E. I guess I'm kind of old school even though I am only 31, but I've been working and racing with "GS-Style" motors since I first started working on my pop's Super-Comp Suzuki when I was 8 or 9 years old 😂. But if your talking modern Sport bikes i would absolutely go with the GSXR1000 of really any year in the 2000's....I couldn't pick just 1 year because they just keep getting better and better. Anyways, sorry for the long comment bro. Keep doing what your doing, i really appreciate your content. Stay safe
Loved finally seeing everyone.
This was my first year competing and RSR helped me and my busa win a couple weekends in my rookie season ! Awesome vid and great support thanks from Alaska

You did a great job! Thank you for watching. What is you all-time favorite sportbike and why?
It would be cool if they came back with a "Heavy Hitter" class for big guys.
There it is, I knew Gadson did a 9 on a 600cc Kawasaki! Ok it was a "supersport", and it looks like a stock wheel base!!!!
Schnitz isn't the only one that can do wiring for bikes. Focusing majorly on old school wheelie bar bikes and not going to the big sportbike drag racing events will leave you behind

This guy seemed kinda stand off with youre interview, at the beginning
No factory bikes any more. Sad
I HATE scotch locks. After 40 yrs of tearing them off first thing in a diagnosis, glad to see another hater. Don't care a lot for crimp connectors, but, they are a bit better.
Yeah, did you even show a single hayabusa? Your titles are always click-baity.............
