Hi am from cameroon Udoka and I love ur content man I wish we could be friends 🥲🥲🥲🥲😔
Really cool to see two different perspectives with people that are in two different stages of their life. Keep it up :)
Also Ray's voice is really soothing hehe
Going into year 11 tomorrow, your content has motivated me so much, I got my biology from a 4 to an 8, and my English from a 6 to a 9 in y10 mocks! I’m aiming high for GCSEs :)
Thats impressive! Im still struggling to get my grades higher. I dont understand biology much :/
@@hollydeans6030 biology is one of my faves so I was in a relatively easy position to get good grades. It has a loT of content, and some of the terminology is incredibly intimidating. Start with easier topics, cell biology for example, and find a study style that suits you. Also ask ur teachers for help! You can do it :))
@@alexb4185 ty! :)
plls telll me how u improved at english
@@SM-ct1ky English has always been one of my better subjects, but make sure you understand the content and how to structure ur answers is my best advice. Go through whatever text you’re doing and annotate it line by line, if you don’t get something ask a teacher or Google it! Watch parody versions, we’re doing a Christmas Carol and I’ve watched The Muppets version every Christmas for ages so I understand the plot and some key lines.
I structure my answers as (example) Dickens presents Scrooge as cold in Stave One, this is illustrated as he’s “(example that shows this)”. Later on this is contrasted, he’s now “(example)”, this depicts his (change? His growth? Whatever the question wants) and shows dickens’ message.
I hope that helps a bit!!
That's mad guys I personally found Ray's tips and points very interesting it sounds good getting these tips from someone with experience.
Cheers for this and basically your whole channel. I'm basically screwed because I didn't take GCSEs seriously before and now I'm in year 11 I've gotta lot to catch up on. Thanks to you I've started revising and now I feel quite confident for the year so thank you
Same here, we can do this 👏
@@urimim.5317 Good luck bro. I hope you get the results you want

So inspirational thank you so much for this, I will proceed to follow these tips throughout my journey in year 11!
Thank you so much Udoka for giving me confidence in my revision for the past year. It has been significantly helpful and because of you, my average grades have exceeded its limits. Thanks again.
takeaways
- cold emailing ppl in yr field for more opportunities, ex. shadowing professional
- study smart --> spaced repetition
- rmb to maintain yr gd subjects, don't neglect them
- research what u want to do as a job --> ask ppl in the company for a call/email, and ask for how they got to their current position
Great video, as always. They just keep getting better!
7:39 is just as true for choosing A-levels as it is for choosing careers. There are loads of new subjects now available that were not at GCSE which people often don't consider for long enough. And the choice only expands for university: I am doing a degree which was not available either at GCSE or at A-Level; people should consider these degrees way more too!
DO PAST PAPERS!!! And use video explanations for complex subjects. Listen to your teachers and do the homework, don’t fall behind!!!
Tip from Gcse student who got all 9s.
Wish you all the best on your exams this year🤗🍀💞💞
Thanks for the tips!
Thanks
All 9s
Literally How 😭😭
I only just found your channel now and I'm so happy about it. I'm going into Year 10 literally next week and I can't wait to tty your methods!
Good luck!!
I just started my year 11 and I have been watching your vids for like a month now, It keeps me motivated through out the day. I am trying to follow your study time table and its really effective to be honest. keep up with your yt channel and keep us motivated!!!!
As a year 9-about-to-start-year 10 this was a really nice explanation and an aspiration for me :D
I really wish I had my motivation in year 11. I gained it two months before my exam and managed to get 7's for everything but considering I'm studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry I wished that I knew more on the subjects. Start studying and paying full attention in year 11, it really pays off.
For me I've got suicide as a failsafe B)
Very insightful video, thanks for the encouragement and support to make the future brighter
Great information guys. My daughter is now in year 11 and had started revision. Found your tips on creating your personal statement for uni very helpful. Thanks

Ok I'm just about to start A-levels and to see that a guy who got into Cambridge has regrets? Oh shit
Everyone has regrets whether they admit to it or not
bro u are literally my role model. There are too many students who is not working hard in my school and they spend most of their time on useless socialising and tiktok. I mean it is really easy to be affected. But you are giving out lots of positive energy in your videos which really inspires me and often make me feel really motivated Thank you a lot for providing these useful contents and i am so proud of you getting lots a stars in ur gcse result!!!!
Best study CZcamsrs!! 🙌🙌

this video is great. Like Ali Abdaal interview types
Something different udoka, i like it!
Bro please I've been waiting for that anki video I'm not gonna sleep till you upload it 🙃
Bro this is so good
Also, if you’re doing your a levels or GCSE you are still a child. There is no need to pile the pressure on. If you’re watching this video then you care about your results and education. And that’s 99% of the battle. Everyone is different but I did 2 weeks of revision for my GCSE’s and got 10A*-A (9-8). I’m not hating on this video at all, it’s very admirable! But I think it’s easy to fall into this perspective that the world is going to stomp on you unless you get 11 9s and 4 A*S at a level. I know a doctor who got an unconditional for Medicine and then flunked his a levels and still became a doctor. When I was an engineer I had 3 degrees from top unis but my boss had one degree which was a 2:2 from a ‘rubbish’ uni. Just do your best, find what works for you!
Udoka uploaded! What a good day.
Dang it I’m starting year 11 tomorrow! This is gonna be fun😭🤦♀️
