I throw using a Rohde HMT 500 pottery wheel. I fire my pots using a Rohde TE 200 electric kiln and a Rohde KG-340 Gas kiln.

I am really wondering why you throw them on the wheel ... would't it be easier to just roll the basic form out? Just wondering ... :)
I think their throwing them because then they have more control over the length and width
