I built this kit...twice! The first attempt the body was warped, and I messed it up trying to straighten it. Bought a second kit, and took the body out of it to complete the first kit. Wrote the Manufacturer about it and they sent me a new one, although it took almost 3 weeks to receive. Built the kit again after getting the new body. You are right, kit is simple and not very well detailed, and the decals are relatively useless. No one else makes a 63 corvette kit though, so if you want this for your collection, this is a decent looking kit when complete.
Nice update. Hopefully, you can get the paint issues corrected. Congratulations on the subscribers. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks a million.
Issues notwithstanding, that IS a beautiful color, interior and chassis is looking great 😁✌️
Thanks. Hoping round 2 with the paint job is better.
Looking good. Thanks for sharing. 😎🇨🇦
Thanks for watching. I hope I get it right this time.
It's looking real good, love the silver chrome body. Reminds me of a spacecraft🙂
It is a sharp color for sure. Thanks for watching.
That is very cool!
The results with the paint looks like what I get when I don't wash well, even with small parts. Must be washed well, twice. way kool building
Thanks for checking it out. This was a pain in the ass but looks nice.
Very cool looking Vette brother I like the paint too
Hopefully the second attempt will do the job. Thanks for watching.
Looking good 👍 painting car bodys can be a pain sometimes. Definetely need to build a Vette during the winter if I can find one.
Never had such a problem. You should have no trouble finding a Vette kit.
Yuge congrats on hitting 400 subs. Car's lookin great. You'll get it sorted.👍
It's looking great and I hope that you get the paint sorted out because it's a very cool color!
Thanks. Keep your fingers crossed.
Corvette is coming along .. nicely done 👍🏻 & congrats on your 400 subs
Thanks. Hoping paint job #2 doesn't shit the bed.

Thanks for scoping it out. Much appreciated.
Yeah, it does look sharp. Sucks you had issues. Congrats on 400!
Thanks. Hopefully we'll get back on track with this build.
This kit is an old AMT mold. Amt tends to not update there decals. Nice update. I'll be watching
Thanks for watching. Should have it sorted out shortly.
Color really fits the car! Hope you can get it straightened out!
Having problems still. Brake fluid removed the silver paint but not the black basecoat.
Looks cool
Thanks for watching. Hopefully it will look much better in a day or two!
Man that's looking GOOD those decals would work on a custom but not to cool for that kit lol
Thanks. Stripping the body now. Hopefully it will look even better.
Not the greatest of kits but you gotta love that body style
Definitely an awesome body style. Simplistic kit but no fit issues.
Looks good. Too bad the paint doesn't really wanna stick.
It's getting stripped as we type.
@@TI4438 good luck Brother.
What did you use to strip the paint off the body . Thanks Tom
Testors brush cleaner got everything off with a good scrubbing. Thanks for checking it out. Much appreciated.
Thanks for getting back to me . Great video
@@thomasimmesberger2644 no problem.
Silver and clear don't work together. Try buffing it out with wax.
Didn't use a clearcoat. Tested this paint on spare body and it looks better without it. Thanks for watching.
