    Being 27 years old, NFS Porsche is hands down the best NFS in my opinion and ti will hold special place in my heart forever.

    I kinda miss this physic style from older Need For Speed. They weren't drift to win all the time

      @un57  Před rokem +3

      Yeah well there are the old games still for us to enjoy. It seems like they dont want to go back to this anymore and nowadays every car has NOS.

      @@un57 Not saying newer games are bad, of course. I just hope just one game...ONE GAME....they use this kind of physic again. Especially if one day, they are going to remake or creating an entry that NFS Porsche Unleashed and/or NFS Underground look-like.

    • @un57
      @un57  Před rokem +2

      @@amurilloreno Yeah that's how I understood your first message. If they make a game with this kinds of physics, it's probably not going to be only 1 game, but then it's also probably going to be something like the Shift games. At least that's how I see things.

    • @amurilloreno
      @amurilloreno Před rokem

      @@un57 Did you know? They are pulling Project Cars and DiRT from every platform. All of these games are Sim to SimCade. Think they have a plan for a new Sim series? Since EA was the one pulling the punch now for Codemaster and SlightlyMadStudio.

    • @un57
      @un57  Před rokem

      @@amurilloreno No, I didnt know. Anything is possible. I think they'll continue both or end up with 1 series under a different name but with the same goals - similar if not the same physics, similar if not the same tracks and so on.

    Better physics than 90% later race games.

    NFS Porsche was one of the most important games of my childhood, I played it everyday for like 4 or 5 years before i discovered mw and carbon.

    • @un57
      @un57  Před měsícem +1

      Yeah I didnt play it as much as you but I still played a bunch. Whoever made this game knew what he was doing. You can count the vertices on the polygons but it still looks amazing despite the technical limitations of the time. And then there's the gameplay, the game modes, the cars, the tiny bit of history, the locations (funnily enough you drive a German brand of cars in France for the most part).

    You can tune the suspension etc, it will affect the handling

    • @un57
      @un57  Před rokem

      Yes, I know. I just didnt want to do that, if possible. I felt lazy since I dont know how much to tweak by and I didnt want to waste time experimenting, besides that way each car feels different from the rest and more authentic.

    My favourite was the 1978 911 turbo 964, quite the crazy handler, I still remember what a handful she was around the corners compared to the agile 911 Carrera RS!

      @@Andy_Novosad Interesting! I doubt it's got something to do with wine though. There's a text file the game's folder that says that it's version 3.2 but I dont know how legit it is. I know the last one is 3.5 and if that's correct, then that may be why.
