a trick i seen for getting compound corners : a steel wheelbarrow bucket , the guy used a few of those to make his transmission tunnel and some other hard to make cornerpieces and it turned out pretty good actually
as for the price of the tools , yeah sure . when you make the next part you dont have to buy the tools no more
going to buy a beadroller too , going to motorize it though , that helps a lot when working alone

I’d probably set that sheet metal up as an outside corner joint and fuse it with the Tig. With a slight weave it’d make a nice job of that.
Bend the edge of your cowl to make a flange and spot weld firewall to the flange

Now you need to modify the bead roller, reinforce it, make a table and stand for it. and power it. It really does make a big difference in quality. That said the fire wall looks great!

If you make a 90 degree angle trim piece then use a metal stretcher/shrinker to bend the radius in it, you could tac it then 3m body panel glue the trim piece on with a couple welds at each end. This will make it look like there is no welds there.

try using some bronze silica to weld it all together its more of a light weld with low heat kinda like brazing in a sense.

Epoxy sealant and weld..
You could save that firewall with a wood
Buck and a dead blow. Shape a 1”
Thick piece of plywood to the inside contour of that lower beaded area and use the deadblow
To make the contour.

Nice job there Wyatt, for someone with no experience I would say you did way better than most. Looks awesome. You should be able to run a bead around the cowling and the firewall. just need to find the right settings for the welder. Keep it up Dude that truck will be done faster than you thought.
