Herman and Grandpa break into the bank to return the money. But, manage to get stuck in the bank vault.
A family of friendly monsters having misadventures and never quite understanding why people react to them so strangely.

Fred Gwynne and Al Lewis had great comic chemistry.
The personality of Herman is perfectly crafted.
I'm 54 and this was one of my favorite shows growing up.
This show should have been on the air at the time that you were being born. Were you watching from your crib?
I watched reruns back in the 70s after school
Awwwww you’re old
Yes I'm a little bit old Michael
I'm 29 with 74 year old parents, so, same
Al and Fred were comic geniuses ❤️🦇☠️⚰️😈🎃💀👻
I've seen Herman swing a wrecking ball with one hand like it was a pocket watch. I find it hard to believe he couldn't break down that door.
"It was the only door!" Cracks me up every time. Classic chemistry between these two
One of the funniest scenes in the entire series. Gwynne and Lewis had brilliant chemistry together.
Yep! And Al Lewis went on record as saying that despite the heavy makeup, costumes, etc. they enjoyed working with each other and had FUN doing the show!
@@wardarcade7452 Nice to hear. :)
you are never too old to love the munsters. A sweeter, funnier character as Herman there never was or will be. Thank you for even the maddening half episodes are a joy to watch. I just discovered the upload today and im so happy!!
Yes, I agree! I actually own the DVD set but I still tune in to these episodes online. I like to read the comments as well!!
I loved how the bank robbers fainted when Herman gave them a hug!!
It was so funny 🤣 😆
I wood too
Herman and Granpa were just as good as the Skipper & Gilligan in the situation bits they did together. Their timing and chemistry were brilliant! I love those 2 man bits.
Grandpa is the only count to have a Brooklyn accent."Short coicit da burglar alarm" Love these guys!
"Percisely" and the best friend of a count every monster fanatic can befriend!
I loved Herman just a sweet charactor very iconic love this show
Still watching in 2023!!!!! Love it!!! Can't get enough!!!! 🖤🦇🖤🦇🖤🦇🖤....
My all time favourite show. I could watch them all day every day.
What can I say, but truer words have never been spoken. I used to rush home after school in Montreal in 1965 to watch the Munsters on TV. I can watch them ad nauseum and never tire of their antics. Sigh! I so miss the past and my Munster friends :(
I did growing up and later bought the dvd collection of all episodes! I still love this show and still find it comical , charming, and smart 💜✨🔮 I have been wishing that it returns
Love Fred’s laugh !
The Best TV Show Ever!

Fred and Al had great chemistry even the gags best part when Herman driving grandpa bananas is funniest! Lol!😂 And Herman isn’t the only buffoon, even grandpa’s spells even backfires or bad setbacks🤣
Brings back memories.
Who’s watching The Munsters in 2021?
Herman's innocent disposition...
One of my favorite shows of all time
Feel good TV back in the day that I remember and miss.
Bless you who ever thought about upload these!
I wonder if it was butch partick!!?!
When TV was great!
Make TV Great Again!
Munsters much better than Adams family especially when Herman interacts with regular people like the time he tried to join a baseball team
No both where's great,,
They just went different ways,,,, but both was excellent
I like both and I can't vote. They're both Funny
I agree
@J.D. WALKER
" I don't know whether to sign him up or send him to Vietnam "
@J.D. WALKER Leo also tried to hire jethro clampett of Beverly hillbillies too lol
😞 "Well, it'll teach us a darn good lesson to be more careful next time." Really Herman?! 😞
The Munsters and Green Acres were my favorites as a child in the 60's!
Alsobarney Andy Griffith show
I grew up on these shows and I love that decades later they're even more popular today.
GOD, I LOVE THESE SHOWS !!!!!
One two buckle my shoe and it was the only door gets me every time! 😂😂😂
LOL
I remember watching this show when I was a kid back in the 90s on Nick at Nite. I Love The Munsters 😁😁😁
How could anyone dis like this program????
Those two were hilarious
The best part is when Herman breaks the phone. Cracks me up every time I see it !!!
i had alot of fun on Saturday watching them its funny when herman gets mad he jumps up and down he does major dammage to thier house lol!
Al Lewis was a genius
Best TV Show Ever
I am glad I was able to watch this show every week when new. I think it was on every Friday, 7pm central time. I never tire of this show. It should have been on new for at least 5 years.
Its so great to watch this and to know that Fred Gwynne years later was in a very serious and dark play on Broadway, called ''A Texas Trilogy'' where I think the character is crippled? Highly diverse actor
Love it My favorite show
Awesome show this was
*Sure Was ,,,YoDa !!!*
My favorite Series
❤ the drag race episode, herman playing college 🏀 basketball, professional baseball ⚾️, etc etc episodes
I would Love that Big Hug from Herman
Fred Gwynne was awesome in his judge role in my cousin Vinny what's a yut ? When he asked joe pesci 🤔😅😅
You would think that with Herman's strength and Grandpa's magic that they would be out in a second
Yeah, you'd think! But then the episode would end too quickly!! And I guess we're supposed to rely on the fact that Herman is not too astute!!
@@butchieblock9118 But Grandpa was supposed to have been smart or at least smarter than Herman!
My Alltime Favorite is BATMAN, BUT I LOVE THIS TV A CLASSIC SITCOM FROM THE 1960'S & EVERYONE IS ENTITLED TO THEIR FAVORITE TV Show, So if THE MUNSTERS is you Favorite, you'll get no dispute From Me !!!
Steal my money call the feds
6:26- 'I'd like to help you, sir, but this is a recording!'
How true that's wound up being!
Herman and Grandpa remind me of Max and the Chief from Get Smart.
Yvonne De Carlo was really a beautiful woman and a great actress. She appeared in over 100 movies and TV shows over a 50 year career.
I loved the munsters and the Beverly hill billies
I'm just a little bit light headed 😅🤣😂
Since Herman is a Frankenstein monster, he should have been able to handle the electric shock.
Maybe it's like a light switch. Gets hit once, turns him on. Gets hit again, turns him off
🙆🏻♀️ TYTYTY Derrick! You’re one of veryyy few
i’ve ever seen that said it
correctly: Frankenstein’s
MONSTER. 🤷🏻♀️ Most
everyone else would
comment that Herman
was a “Frankenstein”. That makes me just _IRRATIONALLY_
irritated! 🤬 Sorry. 🤦🏻♀️
But TY AGAIN! Think ya
kinda made my day! 🙋🏻♀️
@@lauriedavis400 If we want to be really technical here, Frankenstein's monster was created by Frankenstein, so he would take his "father's" last name, making him *also Frankenstein*
@@sylph8005 the monster was just referred to as, The Monster.
@@1pcfred I think it was referred to by other unsavory terms as well, such as the Demon and other things I can't remember. I don't think calling him Frankenstein is *that* bad though, for the reason I already stated. Victor may not have named his creation, but Victor was a deadbeat dad so we don't have to listen to him (though I think he might be nicer in the Munsters story. I don't remember the reason he gave up Herman, though).
Sweet!
Nice episode but it would've been better if Herman had simply smashed down the bank vault door. He certainly had the power to do it...
That's what I always thought, as strong as he was.
*They Wanted to show ''him'' (Herman) as having, ( 2 ) Specific Characters traits ...# 1: Being as somewhat of a Dimwit! ... And # 2: Also as a kind ^ & ''gentle'' ` GIANT !!*
He didn't know his own strength
(Grandpa shouting) HERMAN
I just ordered the DVD set!
*Me ToO ! ...All ''70'' Episodes' !*
You'll love ❤ it❗
Great television back then U can watch these gems over and over but try watch repeats today it does your head in
1 2 BUCKLE MY SHOE ..

Grandpa was top dog of that show!!
Loved Al Lewis - a real New Yorker - Car 54...

Love this show. I always liked Marilyn. She was cute 🥰
I Love How Nervous Herman Is , Watch His Hands Lol .. Perfect Shaking Good Actor
Who Else would love that Big Hug from Herman Besides me ?
No ATM? I'm not banking there. :/
As strong as Herman was, he could've busted out, piece of cake. And Grandpa, he could've use some kind of power too to help break out.
I never seen it before until now
"IT WAS THE ONLY DOOR!"
Better late than never, buddy.Been watching Herman and Grandpa since 1970.
FRED GWYNNE HARVARD GRADUATE
Al Lewis - PhD in Child Psychology :)
Ty
I had no idea Al was a doctor. He was a brilliant man. Fred majored in literature at Harvard.
it takes an intelligent person to impersonate a fool or clown - there are many comedians prooving it, be it Stan Laurel, Danny Kaye or the Pythons and many many more of their according eras.
my cousin vinny
Grampa : herman don't you understand we may never get out of here. Herman: that serves us right it means we got to be careful next time 😅😅
🎉great episode
When you realize the munsters were the original creators of scared straight XD
I'm reminded of the childhood nickname I was given from this Show 'Eddie Munster'
Hope someday they will make a animated claymation like nightmare before Christmas
Hahahahahahaha they have amazing yet funny chemistry hahahahaha
"It was the only door 🚪"❗
Al Lewis would play the Joker flawlessly
Yeah, he's got that cackle.
Herman is so sweet.
Herman wants to call the 53rd precinct car 54
If Grandpa can do magic. Why didn't he get themselves out of this situation that they've gotten themselves in? Then again he and Herman aren't the sharpest tools in the crypt.
The good old days when robbers had names like fingers
The Munsters, Sanford & Son, I love Lucy They don't make them so funny anymore!
I am 60 and watched this new. Alot of sitcoms have created storylines of some cast members getting locked in a vault somewhere or a basement.
Funny
Hahaha hahaha 👏👏👏👏👏🤣
I love Al Lewis' laugh, one of a kind. I grew up on the Munsters.
This episode was on today 8/11/20🤗I watch this show Monday-Friday 7-8pm & on Sunday 7-9pm🤗
In Philadelphia? That's when it's on here.
Imagine doing a finger print test from Herman, WTF the fingerprints are from 2 different people.
Possibly TEN different people (and we never saw his toes)!
We always make make right withdraw with our doing the right thing monster escape makers. Stay safe everyone!
Yesterday I bought the complete series
Love the show and this clip. The only PROBLEM is GOOGLE kept interupting the clip every 44 seconds with a useless pos ad I couldnt delete
....................
It was the only door.
Grandpa Munster and ted cruz are twins
I don't think this is a true story because the alarm wouldn't be on the outside.
