      beau knows88 girl me and you both, I hate that feeling of being cold and I don't wanna keep running my water when I'm not using it. I just run water under my tub and call it a day. On my channel for my wash day you just see me under my tub and keep it pushing but maybe when I get a removable shower head that might be a game changer 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

    Ok so I’m here from your Gold Eco styler review💛💛💛
    Girl I’m loving your channel already!! Like I’m literally learning something new already!! Actually more than one thing.
    I always shampoo my hair in sections then wash it out then condition each section wash that out. Instead of shampooing and conditioning at once at each section at a time. I’m literally trying this the next time I wash!!
    Then I’m learning about the milk for the inside and a leave in for the out(basically) I’ve had a theory about the milks and butters and leave ins for low pororisty. And my hair loves milks and butters. So I’m definitely trying this technique tip also. I mix the Shea Moisture Manuka honey deep conditioner with the Maui pink collection deep conditioner and had such good results for my wash and go! Girl?! 😩
    I’m just loving this 😩
    This helped me so much!! Loyal subbie here🤞🏾💛

  • @nvrnakednails1231
    @nvrnakednails1231 Před 6 lety +26

    I never heard of incorporating a milk bc it moistures from the inside out, and leave ins from the outside. May I ask where you got that information from? Some people with low porosity will use a milk instead of a leave in bc a lot of them contain protein, and many lopos are protein sensitive. Also according to the natural hair haven, the science-y hair blog, and green beauty on CZcams, it's more beneficial to use the LCO method so you can get moisture from each layer then seal.

    • @nvrnakednails1231
      @nvrnakednails1231 Před 6 lety +7

      The reason I ask that is bc whether it's a leave in, milk, or cream there are only some ingredients that are able to penetrate the hair shaft. That's why a good natural hair product will contain ingredients that hydrate and moisturize the hair with a mix of certain vitamins, water, emollients, and humectants.

    • @XEveryoneLovesEmilyX
      @XEveryoneLovesEmilyX Před 6 lety +19

      ingredients in hair milks and leave ins are the same....no idea where she got that information😂

    • @Sunshineblazefire
      @Sunshineblazefire Před 4 lety

      I thought that was interesting too though I think she mention that because for us low porosity, leave-in is heavy enough for us and hair milk is the lightest but for those who don't have low porosity, it not likely to affect them. I've heard some only use hair milk or leave in and maybe oil or without it so it made sense to me.

    Now that I understand I have low porosity hair I know exactly what products to use I am so happy I was locked for 14 years and I've been a natural comb out for two and a half maybe three now my hair is thinning I have spots in my head but I can feel the thinness it's not damaged it's actually thinning so I'm praying that understanding the low porosity in my diet change and taking care of my hair from the inside out is going to reverse the thinning God thank you for answering prayers small or big when I talked to him he hears me thank you for your Channel

    • @solarislawson4152
      @solarislawson4152 Před 5 lety

      I had hair thinning in the middle of my head. No one ever knew unless I told them, but I was able to figure it out. It was the summer time, and the middle of my head was exposed to the sun most of the time because of the hair styles I wore. Combine this with the the products I was putting in my hair. My hair would both feel and look fine when I was inside, but after a few hours outside, it'd dry up really bad, and get hard. I found out that the products I was using were evaporating, and that I needed something thicker and a sealant to keep the moisture in. It took a while but my hair has gotten back, and you'd never know I went through that. I hope this helps some.

    Hey doll. I'm a low porosity girl as well. My hair HATES protein period, even hydrolyzed proteins, especially if its done too soon since the last use. How do you determine how and when you incorporate it into your regimen? I usually do a protein treatment every 3 months when it starts getting uncontrollably frizzy but thats all my hair seems to tolerate. 😕

    • @solarislawson4152
      @solarislawson4152 Před 5 lety

      You may need to deep condition, re moisturize your hair half way through the week (I personally have just started doing this, and my hair has been soft, and shiny instead of dry and matted like it was before), or you may need to switch to butters, and creams. P.s- I personally keep my hair in buns as a protective style, but when it was shorter I wore puffs and used Shea Moisture's healing mask and treatment to prevent damage (I used other products with this, but I really feel that the mask helped most). Not only did I notice my curls showing more (less frizz), but my hair actually started growing. I'm no pro, but I hope this helps.
