Breathtaking!!! At about 9 minutes in, my lovely old cat sneezed.... I looked away to make sure she was OK, then looked back and there was a mountain range rising out of the mist!!! Pure magic!
Bill invented the standard "paint break" mountains that he did and Bob made even more famous, but he was able to paint in different styles too, here just using a few touches of paint to make hints. Bill really was a true artist.
Bill painted for well over 50 years. That makes a difference. A huge difference. His experience level was well beyond Ross. Ross was basically an amateur who learned easily. We can't say Ross was skilled, because you need experience to develop that skill

I miss Bill Alexander so much. He was a wonderful wonderful artist. One of the things I love most about it is that the end of every show he would say I love you to the people watching. What a magnificent heart he had

You can really see he had a big heart, his master work of the knife is incredible and just a couple of colors! So great! Gentle giant!
Bill gave us the greatest gift. He left us the ability to paint. For this he will never be gone.

I lost a grandfather at age 9 to cancer. When I discovered the magic of oil painting I made Bill my New grandfather. His words were so positive.
