I wrote this poem for Bill...because I know He would be sad about the trees burning
    " Im a Happy Tree "
    I was a happy tree
    my branches and leaves
    swayin in the breeze
and you could sit under my shade
and have a glass of lemonade
    and be at ease
    Please help yourself
    I wont hurt you
    im your friend
    I can help you
    breath
and I can feed you too
    With my fruity toot toot
    I was a happy tree
    with my roots planted deep
    and here I will be
for the rest of my life
    Not troubled
    by pain of strife
    its a happy life
even when the rain beats down
    and the snow weighs heavy
    on my limbs
    as the daylight dims
    Cold lonely nights
    I am here for you
    A mighty tree
    strong and brave
    But me you dont save
    You cut me down
or burn me to the ground
not a branch nor leaf be found
why do you hurt me so
    and not let me grow
    I was a happy tree
    until they came
and they really gave me the blame
    for being a tree
    you cut me up
and make planks out of me
    make chairs and house
and pretty things out of me
but still you dont love me
    and I cant be free
    from this ground you see
and some one made a door out of me
    I was a hippy tree
    but not any more
    since i became a door
    open and close for you
    and keep you safe
just as I said i would
    when you were under me

Hi there, Bill fires in with the brush to keep the winter scene warm Lol It is a beautiful painting of the sun shining through dark clouds on to the tall mountains and fir trees and reflecting in the water. Indeed, I like it very much.

As a longtime fan of both Bill Alexander and Bob Ross, I personally think the polarization, arguing and criticizing between their respective fans are just ridiculous. Bill and Bob were both incredibly talented wet-on-wet painters. They just had very different personalities.

@@jasontito7644 That's not very uncommon. I think Bob was more relatable due to his personality. Now, the real creeps behind Bob Ross were (and still are) the Kowalski's. Not only did they take advantage of Bob and his family, they stole from artists Gary and Kathwren Jenkins.

@@Gmail.compey yes...i like the way Ross teaches, his kind voice .but he has no value as an artist really, people don't understand that because he is kind of part of their culture, so it is difficult if not impossible to have an objective opinion.. Bill has more artistic talent because he has creative ability and versatility. Ross had a limited talent as an artist, but was a successful business man

At least this company truly respects its namesake unlike the vultures who exploited Bill's former student. In fact I wonder if the Kowalskis are what caused Bob to drift away from the Alexander company. They seem like Svengalis. I'd say Bob would have remained with this company if he'd never met the Kowalskis. Now the public knows their true colors.

    • @AAlexanderArt
      @AAlexanderArt  Před 2 lety +1

Bob turned his back on Bill. Yes it was with the Kowalskis but Bob walked away too! People seem to think Bob was innocent and they were all bad, but Bob made the choice to rip Bill off. It hurt Bill badly because he gave everything to Bob and then Bob betrayed him.
