IVE BEEN WORKING ON THIS MAP SINCE LAST NOVEMBER!! I cant tell you how excited I am to host it finally!!
This map features an AU where when cats die from Green Cough, they come back as zombies soon after death.
All four clans have dug a large hole between territories to dispose of bodies before they turn into zombies and infect more cats.
In Thunderclan, it’s Longtail’s job to dispose of the bodies, but when the disease starts to wipe out those close to him, Firestar dies and he becomes leader. When Longtail goes to starclan to receive his nine lives, there are no cats there. Does this have something to do with the zombies?
Longtail must think of a plan to get all the clans to work together and stop the zombies for good but as most zombie movies go, the ending isn’t a happy one.

if i had a nickel for every Giingersnaps MAP i was in that involved white-eyed dead cats, I'd have... wait. I'd only have ONE nickel. Applied so I can get that other nickel!!!
Honestly it's pretty eerie how there's no cats in StarClan to even greet Longtail, much less give him his 9 lives, it reminds me of the quote "God has abandoned us..." usually used in zombie movies.
It also makes me wonder if most of the zombie cats are even "dead" or if until their brain/body is destroyed fully then their soul can't go to StarClan, like they're stuck until they actually die, which is a horrifying prospect to think about, especially since they've just been tossing them in a hole to contain the zombies, and would mean that swiftpaw actually got off easy by not getting infected by the zombie cats and dying a quick death by being brave.
That's only a hunch, but it's clear in this map that StarClan can't help them anymore.
There was a theory like that for the walking dead comic, and I love it and I love this whole au
That still wouldn't explain why Starclan is empty, since _everyone_ can't have died from greencough and there was propably a time before the plague.
@@saagabragi6938 they mightve faded away for some reason or other- or maybe had their own sort of plague
@@cantsalvagethis or starclan simply just left- like in the new ark, most of the clans thought they had abandon them too. But what if starclan just felt like they couldn’t help? Or they were selfish and didn’t want to deal with it, or maybe scared?
@@BitterCyder my theory is the zombies have always existed. Prehaps starclan cats themselves were zombies, or even dark forest cats who killed every starclan cat before they could intervene. This way swiftpaw goes to starclan, alone and might go mad? Maybe he becomes a zombie from madness. Maybe a single starclan cat went mad, like mothflight, and eventually attacked everyone and spread into the forest territory.
This AU is really unique! The fact that Longtail is the main focus makes it even better! I applied^^
A little add on I feel bad for Longtail, he didn’t get nine lives because no one, I mean NO ONE was in StarClan. At the end he was mauled to death as others with him ran away just for themselves could be safe, this AU is one of the most unique out of all of them!

Applied! I've never seen such an original map where a backgroundish character steps up! The story is awesome on how Longtail is going to become leader but has to wait! the storyboard hits hard for some reason, the way the zombies attack and the way things happen to him! The song adds so much to it as well!
Wow man the way that long tail is alone in the stars or star clan just shows that due to them being zombie’s means they aren’t dead yet, it’s a nice touch honestly just showing how desolate the apocalypse really is
I'm trying not to take on map parts while I'm recovering from burnout, so I can't join - but I gotta say I'm *really* excited about this one dude! The storyboard, the concepts? It was all so cool! I can picture every frame... it's gonna be one I watch again and again (like cops and robbers!)

I’m so happy to see more zombie/apocalypse ideas in the fandom. It’s such an interesting concept to bring this into warriors but an awesome one at that! Cant wait to see this completed :)

Watching this storyboard over in over legit made a tear up. Just the defeat yet desperation in longtail as the zombies kill him tore me a fucking part! One of the best song+aus I've ever seen. :')

I'm late but applied as backup nonetheless!! I love your goddamn maps they're always so original and interesting! The storyboard looks fantastic and it'll probably looks 1000% better when it's finished! The fact Longtail is almost thrown into the position of leader without any further preparation shows how little did he actually plan the final act of the map and how wrong it went because of it! Anyways hope this gets done soon!

I feel like there are no cats in Starclan because as long as they're roaming around as zombies, their spirits remain trapped and need to be set free by killing them for good. (However, I can't explain what happened to all the Starclan cat's pre-apocalypse, lol...)
I love this quite a bit and (No, not because of the zombies...) it has major Walking Dead vibes. Perhaps that's because you have a somewhat compelling story, despite so many characters always dying and hope seeming lost? I love it quite a bit, and while idk when it'll be done, I really hope it can see the light of day around October. I would LOVE to see this as a Halloween special, but I'll still love it whenever it gets done.

Random theory that just popped up in my head, thought I'd share it: souls of the dead (StarClan/Dark Forest cats) are sacrificed to keep the bodies of newly dead cats "alive". The souls of zombified cats themselves wander around aimlessly as spirits, unable to get into StarClan as there is no one there to welcome them, until they are ultimately sacrificed themselves to fuel yet another zombie in an endless cycle of death and sacrifice.
