Some dance tracks (e.g. Heartbreaker has a bit of a Michael Jackson vibe), upbeat songs like Mud Blood (with even two Loïcs dancing in the video) and melancholic songs like 29 (a slow, beautiful song about the breakup with his g/f), Cry Out or On Fire. Doctor and Candy are some crazy Halloween songs. If you prefer deep lyrics then I highly recommend his French song Mr/Mme (the video has English CCs), a song that he wrote when he was really down. Mr/Mme is a masterpiece in my opinion.
Loic is the whole package. He won the French version of "Dancing with the stars" and still holds the highest average score even after eleven seasons. Million Eyes is one of his most popular songs but a bit repetitive at the end. I highly recommend his French song "Mr/Mme" (= mister/madam) where he is pouring his heart out.
I love that you picked up on that thing he does with the line “you’re still here”. I don’t know the word for it either, but it’s really an exceptional skill!! Love it! You have to check out his cover of chandelier and Mr/Mme (turn on subtitles). This man is a legend. How he is not world famous yet is a complete mystery!!!
