However I was not able to replay what would have been stored on that old sd card, I assume because the dates do not match to the replay MONTH + DATES that are the options on the wyze cam replay. Any ideas how to save and view what is on my removed sd card to view my pet.
If you insert the SD card into a computer slot or adapter, you will be able to playback the videos files, it doesn’t matter the dates set by the Wyze camera. What happened when you tried to playback on the computer? Any error messages? Sometimes the default video player (such as Windows Media Player) doesn’t work, so you use a free software such as the VLC Player which you can download for Free. I’ve seen that a lot… VLC gets the job done.
can I pull out an sd card to permanently save the days of video recording and replace a card for the camera. My goal is to be able to view the recorded images for the past few days as my pet has died and I want to save the last days of him in my home.

I suggest a high endurance SD card. They are more reliable for writing and rewriting over time.
