It's a very funny bit... BUT... the truth is we're not dumb. Even Warren Buffet himself - one of the greatest financial minds, says he stays away from investments he doesn't understand. That's just plain good advice. Those so-called "exotic investments" like crypto, are meant to be confusing because they're a scam designed to deceive the regular person with their over-complications while only profiting the liars who concocted the whole crooked mess...!!!

I classified that as being "subnormie". It's not ignorance 😂 There's NORMIES, who pay little attention to anything and then there's us. Subnormies. Like I didn't know 9/11 was happening for 10 hours cuz I was watching movies at home alone. Then I answered the phone at 7pm and my husband told me he had to work late cuz he was in air traffic control back then but I probably still wouldn't know until I went to work again. When I said Why? He couldn't believe I didn't know about it yet.

There's a common thread of "I love my grandma, she's such an inspiration to me, let me tell you about that one time we almost got killed" but they're all wild.

Edit: Yes, I am aware he was in The Comedy Lineup Netflix special but he needs one ALL BY HIMSELF. Also, no it is not a pinnacle for comedians to have a Netflix special, but it does increase their audience exposure. I envision him hosting the Daily Show in the near future. 💐

Netflix has 247.2 million subscribers, while Peacock only has 28 million as of Q3 2023. The math ain’t mathin lol. 😂 More people should witness his greatness. It will improve their overall quality of life while also educating them about the things going on in this crazy world. Josh Johnson is the literal definition of a perfect balance.👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

Such as when one is experiencing difficult emotions and walks around mindlessly not paying attention to anything but the thoughts in their head. The meaning is implied, but rarely does a stranger respond with questions about it like, "oh, you're feeling preoccupied? Tell me about it." That is the joke. It's a common excuse to simply say, I didn't even see you (implied: I have a lot on my mind) but uncommon for a stranger to ask what was on their mind. (And it was attention, not attain. "I didn't even pay attention to you.")

He has the incredible gift of timing like Bea Arthur and I hope he knows this is a huge compliment. He starts telling them how beautiful the city is and he said “but” and just paused and they are dying laughing…

Man it’s good to see a young comic post clips that aren’t crowd work. Other comics, take note: you can make clips that are topical, original and funny without just roasting people in the front row.
I LOVE your cadence! Like, the way you bring the energy down and lower your voice to lul us into a false sense of security before gettin loud and hittin us with those punchlines! I find lots of folks try to keep that high energy the whole time, and dont give us enough room to breathe and recover from one belly laugh to the next. But the way you weave your sets is fucking masterful!

Adults pointing out kids being stupid saves lives. More kids should be called stupid. Some kid was alone and kept stepping past the yellow line while the train was coming and even fell once on the track and stepped back on the edge. I yelled “get back from the yellow line dummy” and he did. And he’s alive and knows it’s dumb to be past the yellow line. His parents let him use the train yet didn’t teach him basic stuff. They failed him.
You don't know if he's alive. You don't know if he did the same thing two days later or not.

I'm so glad the St. Louis roads is a universal thing. I flew in for the eclipse and that city is the wildest place to navigate, I felt like my GPS was laughing at me the whole time. Somebody honked at me in the left turn lane when the light was still red, and then nobody batted an eye when I did an illegal lane change on the highway. I've never felt more out of my depth than trying to drive there.
