It's finally been picked! That tin that's been cluttering up their fridge since August 2021. The one you've all been waiting for! What will they make of it??
Ha ha ha ha @ 11:52 when she says "it's the bones" ! I mean apart from it stinking like a portaloo at a building site in the middle of summer it was the bones.. 😂😂
To be fair the bones add something really very disgusting to the already slimy texture of the fish, which as you rightly point out… smells like a bad portaloo lol D
Ciao, what a funny Clip, i was Just laughing, but i would never try this fish, even i'm a Veggie 😅 sorry for my bad english and many greetings to you all from Brunswick in Germany and please stay safe 🙂
While I never had surströmming myself (actually I only know a handful who had, and I’ve been living in sweden all my life). However I know that much that it’s not intended to be ingested without additional preparations (it’s more of an ingredient than to be eaten as is).
I imagine it’s much nicer as an ingredient but we wanted to know what the real thing tasted like, without masking the flavour with other ingredients 😁 D
your suppose to have potatoes and garlic and sallad , bred to it also , not only the fish . but most people who tries the fish the first time , they try eating it without nothing else , only the fish , and they leave the open can right under their noses to smell the disgusting smell .
mad respect for eating that fish right out the can wow lmao
Thanks! Although it’s a Scandinavian delicacy, it’s not really for us... have you seen our fermented shark video too? D
Those fermented herrings could rival the famous French andouillettes in stench.
They make for a great outdoor snack… very much outdoors. Even if it’s raining 😂😂😂
"Are you trying to blow the bones?" Hahahah that killed me hahahah 😂
It’s amazing what people do when they’re not really thinking 😂

Yep… both nurses. Both seen and smelt A LOT of things 😉

Things that normal human beings should never have to experience 😂

I'm a Swede but I would never touch that stuff. EVER.
Reassuring to know… especially since we have another tin in the cupboard 😂
All that protection and precautions and you didn’t wear gloves to open it!
We didn’t have any! The ones we found were perished! 😂
The bag is cheating 🤣😂🤣
14:32 to use ballet terms... and plie.
The momentum helps push it down 😂 almost like a reverse vomit 😂
Of course you remove the bones before eating it 😂
Please inform yourself how to eat it the proper way
Don’t know why but it was a total surprise that there were even bones in it 🤦🏻♂️😂
True vikings!
Not so sure about that but certainly not the first Scandinavian delicacy we've tried so I think they'd give us an A for effort HAHA
