- Winter has been dragging so we decided to do a challenge in the workshop on the farm.... The most vile thing we have ever done!!!
I have watched numerous attempts at this challenge and always thought people were exaggerating, they weren't!

I'm Viking and the little girl is now a approved Viking. Strong as oak.
But you did all the wrongs you could here. Open it in a bucket of water to remove most of the smell. Then eat it on white hard bread with butter.
He only started wretching when he heard it smells like mums cooking

That was a savage burn though about it smelling like her brother's room 🤣🤣

I probably wouldn't have been able to eat it. Although since childhood I have eaten dried and dried fish, which also smells rotten when cooked.
More Natto beans, sauerkraut, cheeses with mold, etc. It's generally fine.

If I ever visited Sweden, I would everything except for surströmming. I'd rather swallow a prilla of loose snus than eat a little piece of that rancid fish

There are many, many things wrong here.
1 I bet that was the cheapest you find, best cans of sungstromi are swollen
2 You open them under water / wash that fish a little in the process
3 You put that fish on some crispy bread, with some butter, boiled potatoes and onion, or other recipe
That fish have a really good taste, very, very fine. There is cheese that also smells bad but have a very good taste, isn't it?
