Going for a 9 Second 1/4 Mile in the Eventuri 900bhp RS3

- With VMAX done and a top speed of 211mph achieved in 1.1 miles it was time to see what could be done in 1/4 of that, at a drag strip to be more exact!
This is very much the RS3's hunting grounds, being well suited to the shorter distance thanks to gearing, and a savage launch. With Santa Pod being the only drag strip in the UK we are relatively inexperienced at this, especially compared to friends over in the US, so we wanted to see what the car could do.

That was awesome! Did Santapod back in my twenties! We used to mod the exhaust straight through by painting it and cutting where the pain burnt off! Brilliant car. ....my F56 intake order is on the way!

With its full trim and road tyres with normal fuel (no one drives around with a tank full of sunoco) it would lose.. this thing is an animal but a McLaren 720s still does a low 10 on the street with tesco fuel lol and 9's on a prepped strip in stock trim let alone with sticky tyres and race fuel and parts removed like this has..plus it will do it all day long without issue and 3 years warranty and only 720 hp 😂
Rather have the M5 and cruise in comfort than this
