🎤LV Slap Phone Ft. Mia'Mya & Sammie: On Point
UNTIL NEXT TIME, Byee 💛 - Hudba
300 million of albums sold worldwide. Their music catalogue is worth more than $500 million... Absolute legends
Once Barry discovered he could sing in falsetto, they started writing songs for that voice. ❤❤❤❤
You could do BeeGees week for months and it'll take years to get through all of their amazing songs. You are in for so many more treats.
Living Eyes.
Mr Natural.
Kiss of Life. Wedding Day. Bodyguard.
Yes!
Too Much Heaven and Tragedy were both written by the Bee Gees on the same day! Incredible talent. Love your reaction to Tragedy. One of my favorites of theirs too.
with shadow dancing....
A stone cold 'BANGER'! I bought this album the day it came out in 1979!!
Don't be mad at yourself...This is a great choice towards the end of BEE GEES week, its one of their most well known songs . Really enjoyed your reaction as usual...and as always love button tapped!♥️ Congratulations on 22.2K
Barry is a tall drink of water. ❤ Love the BGs, nothing like them
🔥❤️🔥❤️💯 what a way to end The Bee Gees week….it is bittersweet…and Should I say it’s a “Tragedy” 🤔😉❤️🙏🏻
Excellent Tribute to a iconic Group The Bee Gees Great Job very very nice Miaa Thank You Thank You again
Sir Barry's falsetto has yet to meet its match...!
The words to this song describe heartbreak - while the rhythm and melody filled the dancefloor beyond capacity every time it hit the turntable, back in the day...
Three musical geniuses with the tightest harmonies in the business... who arranged, wrote, sang and produced incredible contemporary music like no other group!
💖💖💖
Such a talented trio i have always loved their music👍👍😊😊
You "need" to watch the making of "Tragedy". Also, if you haven't yet, you should squeeze in one more song with Mo singing lead. Two good choices are "Closer than close" and "Man in the middle".
Love your reactions 👍🏻 Maurice (pronounced Morris) had an amazing voice as did Robin but Barry was the Falsetto King of the Gibb Brothers because he could control it and be on pitch. Maurice would cover when they sang live when Barry was needed for lower harmonies but in the studio, the main layered falsettos were predominantly Barry (Fanny, Nights on Broadway, Love so Right, Love You Inside and Out, Tragedy, Too Much Heaven) Barry and Robin would often sing in unison (Fanny) creating a 4th voice - They really were in a league of their own!! 😍
You should watch the making of this song. They were looking for a way to make that explosion sound and Barry went out and created that explosion sound. In this video you somewhat see how he makes it!
Don’t beat yourself up….you finally saw it! I can’t pick just one for my favorite! But you really need to hear Maurice sing lead! Closer than close or Man In the Middle!!!
Shirt size M.😅🥳
Lay it on me, wildflower, Suddenly, there's a bunch of songs Maurice has the lead in. Yes please listen to Maurice Pronounced (Morris)
The Bee Gees are 🐐 🐐 🐐 your chair dance game is Serious!!! Love it. 1
There's a video about the making of Tragedy and it's awesome. That's how I found out they record the melody before the lyrics are written. Plus none of them ever learned to read music. I wish BeeGees week wasn't over.
Please react to Michael Jackson and Barry Gibb All In Your Name
Their sound is unlike any other! Great job!
Patty-I feel as long as you discover the song and experience it. That's what matters. For me, it's Robin. I love how his voice has a haunting, vulnerable quality to it, gets me every time. Maurice's gift is he knows which type of harmony to blend with Barry and Robin. The were definitely touche by a higher power.
Bee Gee week could go on forever for me. Another great Bee Gee song is the official video version of For Whom the Bell Tolls.
Such talent. Two of them are already in heaven. When we go there, Heaven will be amazing. For the others who don't go to Heaven, it will truly be a tragedy.
Wow! I've heard this somewhere. Serious falsetto! Great reaction Mia!❤
Another great reaction Mia!!!! I felt like I was at the disco dancing listening to this!!!!
You would love seeing Barry sing “Words” to his wife Linda on his 2013/2014 tour. ❤
OMG!!! Watching this & I notice "Live, Fort Worth". I remember when BEE GEES Tour Schedule came out back then. I was hoping they would be in New Orleans & I was heart broken to realize Louisiana wasn't on their schedule!!!! No matter, back then it was MTV or VH1 & I lived for BEE GEES videos!!!! Still do & I shrug off the chaos of today & go back to the 70's and the Harmony that existed in the world back then!!! LOVE YOUR REACTIONS!!!! THANKS!!!
I have a great idea for a theme for a week. 50s week. Little Richard, Fats Domino, the Platters, Chuck Barry, Brenda Lee..... The list goes on and on!!😀
How about Chuck Berry 's song 'Johnny B Goode'... featuring the Bee Gees 😊
@@carolb1104 I never heard of that one!!
It's on The Midnight Specials new YT channel!👍
@@kthor Thanks. Will check it out
“Spirits Having Flown” was a great album especially when considering the cultural impact of Fever. “Tragedy” is a great tune although my favorite’s from the album were “Too Much Heaven” and “Inside and Out”….
They have a making of this song video which is excellent! Great reactions!
Eles são incrivelmente demais 👏👏👏👏👏🇧🇷❤❤❤❤
They can all sing falcetto..but all have brilliant chest voices too
Gurl...you must, you just must do Bodyguard! Robin's vocals are among the best! And he looks amazing!!!
You have to dive deeper into discography of beegees, I recommend you to listen to their song "rings around the moon" it's wonderful track
From beginning to end… that’s a hit!
Try
Wedding DAY
LIVE VERSION
Great Reaction and you are looking great as usual.😀
Feeling a bit down? Play this LOUD! Dance like no one's watching 😂Good song, medicinal in a way.
You look cool and you are cool and the Bee gees are too ❤cool
Not only are yu gorgeous but you know good music love !!
All three could sing falsetto. In this song, "Too much Heaven" and others they are all singing in higher octaves. Robin's natural voice was actually higher than Barry's but Barry did most of the falsetto. Mo had a very wide range. Robin's vibrato was unmatched and both Barry and Mo agreed Robin had the best voice. You need to do some Maurice and Robin leads. Mo "Closer than close" or "Hold her in your hand" and Robin "Bodyguard", "Fallen Angel" or "When he's gone". In the mid and late '60's Robin sang at least 50% of their leads but Barry did the disco era.
Mo & Barry may have agreed Robin had the best vibrato, but certainly not the best voice.🎤On Too Much Heaven (a top #1 hit showcasing their vocals), all three "share" 9 of the 27 vocal tracks (lead, high & low harmony 3 times). The other 18 vocal tracks are all Barry....falsetto lead 3 times, falsetto high harmony 3 times, falsetto low harmony 3 times, natural voice lead 3 times, high harmony 3 times & low harmony 3 times. Simply put, Barry's voice dominates that international chart topper....among most of their other massive hits!🎼
@@kthor - Interesting that my lengthy response disappeared. Did someone flag it because it was contradictory and because I provided quotes with their sources? Whoever did so please stop. It's childish. I'm retired so I have lots of time to repost.
Barry and Maurice BOTH said Robin had the "best" voice, not just the best vibrato. That is a fact. In an interview when asked who had the best voice both pointed to Robin. A quote from *The Daily mirror, May 1969 - as quoted in the book "The Bee Gees day to day story" by Andrew Sandoval (page 88) - Barry said "He still has one of the greatest voices I've ever heard. He has a FAR BETTER voice than I have and he's a great songwriter too" and that was during their split! In an interview after his death the interviewer said Robin had the "best" (there's that darned word again) voice in recent recorded music. Barry's response was "You'll get no argument from me". Note the word "best". When they sang together at Barry's home just a while before Robin's death Barry said "Nobody sings like you do". I believe that was on a CBS Sunday segment. From *Tales from the brother's Gibb* a quote from Barry, "Robin's voice was killer". After Robin died he told Al Roker on Good Morning America he should have let Robin sing more. Critics called him "The Pavarotti of pop" (*David Leaf) and "The best white soul voice of his generation" (*Paul Gambaccini). Barry's friend David English said he didn't know how talented he was.
Sure Barry sang on their biggest hits, no argument from me. Absolutely TRUE! That is because that was the most successful era of their career. His voice was the most "popular" and "best known" trade mark for that reason but that does not necessarily equate with being the so called "best". The falsetto made them tons of money and popularity for a time but eventually got them blacklisted because of 1 - overexposure and 2 - over use. It was OK in some songs but was overused and really tarnished songs later in their career when inserted in classics where it didn't belong. Radio stations treated them like the plague as did much of the public. Critics called them "mechanical mice". Barry again said "A lot of people could mimic and even mocked my falsetto but nobody could mimic Robin". These are quotes from the horse's mouth. No debate possible.
"Popular" is a term according to personal taste. "Best" is a term based on other parameters. One is subjective, one objective. Enrico Caruso had a great voice but it was not for everyone. Robin's voice was not for everyone and that's OK. I just used the term that Barry and Maurice used themselves. Who can argue with them?
Whoever deleted my post is being petty. I said nothing offensive.
@@susieq9801 I never flagged anything & no clue what you're referring to.💁♀️In fact, this is the first time I've been on YT today!
@@kthor - OK. My entire comment disappeared so someone did. I never said who. Was not happy to have to repeat it. Would love to know why and who.
If you want to hear a voice you need to check out the Platters - Only you!
Listen to the bee gees reaching out.
Gotta love the Bee Gees pretty lady...
God bless.
💪👌👌
There's one more Gibb brother Andy Gibb the youngest. Who became a big solo star in is own right. He was the spitting image of Barry. Tragically he died from complications of years of drug and alcohol abuse at only age 30.
Love 'Too Much Heaven', but 'Alone' is right up there, trying to push it's way to my favorite! Such harmony, SO high pitched, so GOOD!
Xl Mia and like always a great reaction love what you do
