hanging with what now
The legend has returned
Yeah, and keeps back!
Ah, the early, often broken days of 3D gaming, a true treasure, indeed.
True 😉
Nowadays, games are broken, but more in a negative way, sigh 😔
@@nobodyinparticular9640 yeah in a way that's not ever enjoyable or funny.
@@nobodyinparticular9640AKA Cyberpunk2077 ps4
Quality stuff as usual. Looks to be a very speedrunner-appealing game
It is! Check out Footi's speedrun attempt of tr2 with a freaking Dance Pad
@@Zreen001 A DANCE PAD?!
@@CraZyK1d
Damn. He must've done some sick dance moves to do speedrun strats.
Dude good choice! I know youre a big fan of the game so im happy you finally got it off the list!
Love your vids man
Love your videos dude
Love it when creators know each other :D
Thanks my dude, miss ya man
I once played a "Tomb Raider" demo and painstakingly climbed all the way to the top of the temple room (which took skill) overlooking a bed of spikes at the bottom below...and then jumped onto it impaling Lara on purpose.....I was a weird kid...
Great job on this episode Andy. Enjoyed the combination of the speedrunning glitches and more general glitches!
Yes
I missed son of a glitch in old games, specially beloved ones like Tomb Raider. Thank you Andy!
Yeah, i tried glitch hunting on old/classic games, or games that nobody did glitch hunting before...
Love seeing the glitches in these older games!
Same. 😉
Me too
Thank you for another great video, as always!
My mom stumbled upon the slope, cliff, and door clips as she played back in the day, and used them at every opportunity in her playthroughs.
It wasn't until I got older and learned about terms like "bug" and "exploit" that I realized the way she played this (and the sequel, and a few other games) was abnormal. When I finally told her about it, she was SHOCKED. She thought they were "secret tricks" coded in purposefully to reward clever players. She was really disheartened for a while after that, thinking bugs made her a cheater & bad at video games, but eventually she came back around and still casually hunts for glitches whenever she plays games.
That's just great. :)
She is not wrong, as they do reward a clever player...
In Portal, if you play with dev commentary, there is a way to avoid the puzzle they mention they kept in because they liked how ingenius it was for the player to find it.
Really missed this lately. Amazing content, as always 💪💯
Nice! The legend is done working on Sonic Origins now that it’s out, and he’s back making son of a glitch episodes!
We need Sonic Origins bug, and the broken Firedash Ability OOB bug...😅
He worked on sonic origins??
@@KidFlash22898 specifically on that version of Sonic 3 and Knuckles because he's that remaster's lead artist
@@KidFlash22898 yeah, he made a community post about it
@@arthursnyder6424 And its made with Retro Engine. An game engine for rendering older classic games, with newer hardware.
Nice new theming and opening sequence. I like it a lot.😁
I do love when you do old games too. So many glitches that make it so fun.😂
I'm really loving the new intro and the graphics for button inputs.
I'm not sure which of the classic Lara games it's in (mostly because I was watching a guy play mods), but there's another type of glitch for warping to the top of a wall. I might be remembering it wrong, but I though you have to throw a flare at a wall, then roll into it, and try to pick it up.
That's TR2 or beyond my friend
@@CursedinDisguise TR2, but I don't think it works in TR2 Gold for PC.
Your explanations on how to perform the glitches is truly unmatched. This is true across most of your videos.
He had me laughing at Lara walking around with her guns out 😂😂
Ooh, it’s always nice when a glitch can be useful! Janky is always fun, but helpful is a bonus!
Such a great collection of glitches; thank you!
As someone that likes to try climbing as high as possible in every 3d game (even ones where you can't jump) most of these glitches look quite fun to mess with even as a non-speedrunner.
The legend returned
Happy to see you still doing these. I’ve been watching now for 6-7 years. You gave me a new love for video games :)
Gotta say, that new opening Jingle is superb
Yoooooo, the legend returns!
Amazing job! These glitches get even crazier in the later classic TR games :D
LMAO. 😅
So happy to see this series back
I somehow missed this juggernaut of a game when it released because I was Nintendo only in those days, but the jankiness of the era is so nostalgic for me that watching all these glitches ironically makes me want to play it more now! 😂
After watching this episode, CZcams is now recommending videos of QWOP
Videos like this make me want to try these glitches out for myself. Andy, you never fail to be entertaining!
the legend has returned. love your stuff man this series was my childhood
We love you brother keep it up
so happy to see another son of a glitch!! I love it, do the whole TR series especially the classic
Hey Andy!!
Just wanted to say thank you for your uploads and all your hard work. I love watching your videos and it makes me super happy to see a new upload come out.❤
loved it!!!
104 episodes. Damn man it sure doesn't feel like it. I remember finding you Channel at least 5 or so years ago. Keep it up man. I love your voice and the energy you bring.
Always love to see a new Son of a Glitch episode. Can't watch it right now cause I have to go to work, but you know this will be the first thing I watch when I get back.
fluffing love tomb raider. thank you
No way the legend is back at it again with another glorious video.
Love you Andy! Keep doing what you love man, we’re all here for you
awesome glitches, love it
These glitches are amazing and useful!
Woohoo, another video from Andy! Al ays good to see you putting out content when you can, appreciate the effort! These were fun glitches to see in action, and reminds me that I need to complete the reboot series as well!
Best Quality content return to put smiles in our favorite games
Same. 😉
Really informative and well made video! Good job!
I forgot how much I love the water textures in this game. Great video! Wish I knew this stuff when I played this as a kid. (:
It's good to have you back Andy, we missed you, love your channel I've been watching your content for about 2 years now 😊🎮
I love whenever you upload, seeing more glitches from you is always a treat! I think the corner bug can also be done in Tomb Raider 2 and 3.
It can indeed
The legend is back
Haven't seen you in a while. Thanks for making my day today!
I can’t believe you’ve been doing these for years and getting better and better over them, I really appreciate your dedication and content. Thank you for everything
Loved your work on sonic origins.
Really enjoyed this episode. I rented Tomb Raider from Blockbuster when I was 13...man that was an epic weekend. I never had the internet in my home at the time....figuring out where to go next in the game was often a challenge!
I'm so happy this show is back.
Good to see glitch hunting again.
Also, good conner bugs...😅
A legend returns
Yeah...😉
Wow I love every second of this 15 minute video in the very first minute good content and thank you 🙏
Man we missed you! Please do the whole classic series, and welcome back!
love the intro!
Good to see ya back, you son of a glitch
This video is super awesome and super cool
Gotta love those classics!
Me too. But i don't play Tomb Raider...
Thanks for revealing the slope glitch and the instructions for qwop great video
its nice to see that Son of a Glitch still is happening.
Thanks!
I forgot how much fun these vids are
Awesome tricks. I love TR1.
Yoo Ps1 era glitches are back! Always love to see a classic covered.
Nice video of a really good game...so much fun
HOLY CRUD YOU UPLOADED
I forgot about this series. I used to watch it all the time, then you disappeared. I'm glad one of your shorts showed up in my feed, otherwise I would have forgotten about it forever.
So sick
Oh awesome! I have some catching up to do!
RETURN OF THE KING
Quality as always!
Also I don't know if I've complimented this yet but that intro is mint. The music for it too👌
I never heard of this game! This is cool!
I heard the GBA game, but briefly the N64 game...😅
What? I literally subscribed only a few hours ago and this video appeared. Sounds like magic.
Anyways, again we have some great glitches here. For your hard work, here you go: 👍
Thanks for subscribing :)
Kudos to you Andy to actually be able to control Lara in these older Tomb Raider games. I tried to play them not so long ago and had to quit simply because analog controls just weren't around in this period and to actually perform the qwop glitch without them must be a whole finger gymnastics
Quite the opposite. Because of the analog nature of the controls, they are always the same, meaning movements can be consistent, making stuff way easier
That qwop set up is insane.. the amount of time whoever figured it out spent figuring that out is beyond me. Good stuff.
Back when this game came out just playing through it as a kid, This sorta jank happened all the time and we’d talk about the craziest things that would happen on the bus.
Surprised it took this long but the wait was worth it and I hope you will do a video on Tomb Raider 2 in the future 😊
I've never seen someone give walls such a huge middle finger. Stupendous.
I love the controller effect!
Same. 😏
It's AMAZING!!!! 🤣🤣🥰
New Son of a Glitch WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Favorite game of all time
This is hilarious
Ahhhh just started the video and that theme.... omg... so much nostalgia... of locking the butler in the freezer with his clinking glasses.
My brother loved this game as a kid
Nice I was hoping this would be featured somewhere
This game has something in common with sonic, that walls are a suggestion
Yeah, whenever It has good colision or not...😅
damn video only uploaded 2 hours ago and ive never seen your channel before but the yt algorithm really blessed me with the sick recommended tomb raider content
Welcome to the channel :) thanks for watching
A+START MY GOAT!!!!!!!!
I feel this is more so a Speedrun guide rather than a glitch video. Lol.
Actually, for the Tomb of Qualopec skip glitch, the trigger to load the normal state of the next room is at the first corner rather than in the spot provided at 5:56 (it's the corner BEFORE that spot). Lara must AVOID going over that corner square by jumping through the corner of the wall in order for the glitch to happen since it won't load the normal state but keep the collapsing state of the room. Stepping on the spot provided doesn't do anything and you don't need to jump over it. Also, if you fail, you can return back and try again.
Oh shoot! I never realized you were _this_ close to a million subs. Wish I could sub twice!
Missed you, bud!
Been wondering for years why Lara randomly died from nothing in that hallway when I was a kid. Now I know it was a crocodile's fault.
:-D
Nice intro!
Thanks a lot for doing a ps1 game. Love it.
Man, I sure love leaving comments to support my favorite youtuber 👍🏻 (did you hear that CZcams?!?!)
The first glitch in a game I ever successfully did was the block corner glitch lol I remember being so happy cuz at the time the only other glitches I knew about in other games were so hard to do I just couldn't do it as a kid! Then of corse I did the most famous corner one to teleport you up lol it was the only ones I ever did til way later so it's awesome to still be able to do them in the remaster lol
Everyone needs to play this game I absolutely love it
Might try with an N64 emulator or if the NSO Service does get an release.
