I received no compensation from them. Just love their product. We have also had great service from Georgia Sand and Stone - Zábava
Where in GA are you located? We're in Douglasville. Thanks for the great video.
Loganville. They still look really nice, if you use them I think you’ll be pleased.
What did you put under the stall saver for drainage? I need to redo mine because for some reason it is all uneven again and not draining anymore.
Judy Fountain we put down crush n’ run. We live in Georgia so I’m not sure what it will be called in your area. It consists of fine sand up to small, 1” rocks. We used a plate compacter and put down probably 3”-4”. Our oldest stall it’s in, 10 years now, it puddles a little too. By compacting it it’s still flat and solid. We rented the compacter. Hope this helps, good luck
@@LSatch now that time has gone by, are you still happy with the Stall Saver product? Is the crush 'n run holding up? Do you think pea gravel would be as good?
@@nancystebler9792 yes I love the stuff. We have a few, not sure what to call it, but we use a metal shovel to pick up muck and it has cut a couple of “tags”. They are easy to fix by heating a putty knife and fusing it back down. In one stall where the mare pees all the time will puddle a little but eventually drains. I don’t think pea gravel would work because it won’t pack.
Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and commenting
@@LSatch hey there, just one more question. What do you use for bedding over the Stall Saver mat?
@@nancystebler9792 we use the pine shaving from tractor supply. Hope this helps.
How thick is that stuff?
I'd say between a 1/4-3/8". BUT, it's been down all these years and it hasn't worn out one bit. Our run in used to be a muddy mess. The stuff is incredible. I'm really glad we have it. I'm not paid by anyone to say that either.
What did you use a drainage for urine
Dreamer Medina the urine goes right through the liner into the crushed rock. It has never pooled up. There is about 2-4” of rock under it. Every once in awhile we do get a urine smell, when we do we just use Pinesal from Sams and kind of poor over where they urinate the most. How this helps. I love the way they work. They’re still like new today. Thanks for watching
Thank you so much I’m actually looking into getting the liner next week just wanted to know what to use underneath for drainage loved your job
great video I like how you attached it. maybe go to geoengineeringwatch.org to explain why you trees are dieing
Thanks for the advice, I’ll watch that
