I love these videos. I was never a muscle car guy. But wow. Just look how gorgeous the lines are on these old cars. Incredible. So much more character and style than what you see today...
Man I never realized how awesome these cars are... Now I want one.
Nick, my son was a 20 year old "gearhead" when he was killed in an accident. He loved my old toys I had when he was growing up and when his mom and I split, I had to sell them in order to pay for life and christmas's. I want to get something like this from you and drive it back down here to Florida to be "his car" for the rest of my life. I appreciate how honest you are in your reviews and look forward to finding the right forever toy with you. Have a Happy Christmas and New Years and I look forward to getting with you in 2020.
Sorry for your loss
Broken Medic how he got kill if I may ask
Condolences
@@AlejandroP1980s Someone pulled in front of him on his motorcycle his mom got him.
God bless.
I owned a 70 442 W-30 when I was a kid ...the only thing it could not pass was a gas station...30 mph and punch it and she was sideways... they were the luxury car in hot ridding ...to me this car was much nicer than some of the vehicles I saw you test drive yet priced lower than what I expected... whoever bought this girl got a excellent car at a fantastic price... she’s a beaut...!!!...
Thank you
An honest car salesman..now there's something you don't see everyday.great vid, nice car!🇺🇸

Beautiful 72 Olds, I had one It was a 72 Hurst Olds, with the 455 all done upend had a 4 sp hurst.
Mine was Bronze and white, that car was a torque monster. Those were the days. Stay safe.

@@garycranford1867 Hey, just to let you know, I don't work for maple motors, Sure would like to be their test driver. I wrote a review and it be best to go to their website www.maplemotors.com and check it out. Give them a call and they will be glad to help you. Good luck..
@@garycranford1867 is this not a 442? It had a build of it but it doesn’t have the sign of a 442
I've owned 2 Cutlass's over the years and loved both of them. Both were very dependable.
Thanks
My first car! Mine was red with white interior. Paid $999 for it in 1981. I was second owner. What a great car. Really fast, but really comfortable.
My first car was 1970
Olds Vista cruise 455hp
Rocket!!!! I love it
Clean 72!!!👍🏾
What a sweet car....paint looked great on the sunlight, and the power of it, wow, Beautiful car, great presentation!!!
The 74 had a built 455bb t/h 400 with shift kit...
Had a tendancy to clear cut barbed wire fences that were placed too close to the road....
Thanks again, Nick.
If this one is still around this weekend, I may have to come have a look.
Take care
Respect y'all car business so much Vehicles keep getting better
Thank you
My father and I just got a 72 Oldsmobile S 350! Can’t wait to finally experience the classic car era
THOSE CARS FLOAT DOWN THE HIGHWAY MAN U FEEL NOTHING WHEN I WAS A KID WE HAD ONE I LOVED IT.
Me too
CON WAY you make me want one now 😂
It’s true! They don’t call them boats for nothing. My first ride was a 70 Cutlass Supreme with a golden rocket.
Y’all make me want one now
nvths50 I totaled mine in a wreck. I recovered physically, but never have mentally. Lol I’ve driven other big cars, like old 400+ block cadillacs and a Chevy Caprice Classic Coupe w the bubble glass. But nothing EVER has compared to my bamboo Olds Cutlass. I used to lay black in reverse in that car! The in-floor high beam switch made it so you never had to take your hands off the wheel while flying down a curvy road. The bench seats and suspension made it like you were driving your living room around town. Lol It was such a badass ride!
I had a 72 olds cutlass it was a hand me down my dad bought it at bill mccracken old when they were in homestead Pennsylvania he bought it bran new I miss that car it never let us down at all
I had a 72 442 with a 455 turbo 400 with a shift kit in it man I loved that car!!
Watching these test drives help me fight anxiety so much if been saving up to I got 20k to get one from you guys ..I thank you for you content
FunFact...Olds 442 is not an engine size...it stands for 4Barrel 4speed and 2 is for Dual Exhaust
"Horn's trying to honk". Love it.
Who needs a horn, just punch it and go around!!
I don`t think I could visit Maple Motors and not leave with happiness. Salute to MM. USA1
Thank you
That’s one mean monster! Love that loud exhaust!!! Beautiful car Nick, thanks for the video.
See man. I love the 454 ss truck vid, the Pontiac lemans vid, the 70s monte carlo vid & majority of the chevy c10 vids. But i Lost my MIND on this vid.
Great vid man
Thank you
I had one of this 1972 as well, loved the 455 torque mine had 3.73 gears in it with a 12 bolt gm posi, it liked to shred tires 👍
Glad she sold but sad to see her go.. It was definitely on my list of wants lol. Love the body lines and really just the overall look of these.
I’m in love with that Oldsmobile cutlass supreme lol 442
455 C.U
Where’s the beef? Right here under the hood of that awesome Cutlass.
Wow such an awesome car. Thanks for being honest and upfront in your videos.
This Cutlass has the power to play, if you know what i mean. All of these Cutlasses seemed so unassuming back in the day campared to the 442. There were so many options on motors, as were the Novas. I think alot of these cars were put in the "sleeper" catagory for this reason. Have some fun when you buy this thing!! Put some money to the side for speeding tickets, lol lol.
Yes, they where in the Dad/Family man/ Hot Rod category kinda, sort of ,,, lol
That is one STAND UP OLDS. Very nice, good price too
Looks like a very nice automobile and a real good price
@8.14 that sound, man, it wins all hearts
What a beautiful car. Great memories of the car my family should have bought in 1972.
Amazing looking muscle car!
Gotta luv those oldsmobile v8 engines they all sound the same even the baby 307😂😂😅💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
First thing I'll do is take the tints off! Gotta fishbowl in the old schools!
26 inch rims that rub, color flop custom paint, cut a hole in the hood for a fake supercharger 💥
Nah leave it just like it is.
Love the dark tent . Goes nicely with the green
I had a '72 Cuntlass. bought it for $700 in the Yukon. definitely didn't appreciate it like I should have.
I think that's a bargain. Gorgeous car. I'd be proud.
Wish I hadn't missed that one, price was perfect..dam it!
That’s a ton of fun for 17k and it has the big block. Can’t wait until my son’s out of college....
I'm loving ya cars making me feel young again, can't believe how many years went buy i used to buy these cars for about 3 to 4 thousand dollars.
Thanks for watching
O yea she sounds sweet with that cam and big block
Damn did that car sell FAST or what! Love those 455 powered GM intermediates!!! Especially the 455 Buick torque monsters!! But that 442 clone sure is sweet.........
Clone indeed!
Wow where I’m from 20 bucks will get you about 3.5 gallons . You guys are lucky down there
I'm with you, I really like it also. It's pretty sharp looking, clean, and less of them also.
it's the switch that activates the fuse on the 1 pound of c4 under your seat
Just found yalls channel, love this car! I would love to have her, i love the classic oldsmobiles. A man can dream
Thanks
Oh my gosh, i wish yall were in texas, id try to sell yall my Hyundai for payments on that car. I LOVE that car
another very affordable car... not sure what that engine's putting out, but with some bolt-ons you can get good power out of it. pretty car too... someone got a lot of fun for less than 17k. love what you guys do. when i'm ready i'll certainly come see you.
I usually don’t like the boxy Cutlass but I 💕 this bcuz it reminds me of the Chevelle. 💕💕
wow ! i wish maple motors was nearby! wow on the very NICE cars such as this one !
That's a mean machine; excellent test drive nick; the color is awesome
That Cutlass sounds great. Nothing in the world like a big V-8.
These never last long! Beautiful!
I definitely also think, what a honest man. Take note the rest of you crooked car dealers could learn a thing or two from this man!
You are truly blessed one of the best jobs in the world
What an amazing Beast. What I like about your videos Nick is that you’re honest about every car. Maple Motors for the WIN
Thank you
Maple Motors Muscle Cars Nick Southgate when I worked at a used car lot in Australia for 6 years. We were always honest with our customers and that brought us more business. I look forward to more of your great videos 😬😬

Hope to see you in September if you have what I want love that old muscle
Damn good looking Olds!
Yes it looks nice on the walk around. My question would be forth right, has it been wrecked and what the under carriage looks like and floor panels as well. Buying old cars one can't be too careful.
Wow what a nice car for $16,900!
My first car! Same color! Miss that beast!
“..With a Bocephus sticker on his 442, he’d light ‘em up just for fun...”
Prolly one of the best on the Lot 👌😎
gahh that color is beautiful I want the paint code off that color
It looks like dark jade green.
Sound so good 9:18
U have the best job it the world I've been trying 2 save up some money 2 come cu guys my first car was a cutlass I'd love 2 have that 1 but 10 grand is a ways off love ur videos
All Oldsmobile v8 motors from the late 60s through the mid 80s are big blocks! If it isn't a big block it's not an Oldsmobile motor. The exhaust manifolds, intakes etc will bolt up on the 307, 350, 401 and 455. It's just the largest displacement big block Oldsmobile offered.
No they were not there are small blocks and big blocks there are different intake manifolds big blocks are 2 inches wider they are American blocks not Chevy the big block olds has a longer stroke than the small block the deck hight on the block is 1inch that widens the intake the 2 inches I've raced them for many years big & small blocks and know how to make them go
@@peterrivney552 name a specific olds motor that's a V8 that isn't a big block. I will wait. By you reply you also insinuate that Chevy motors are not american. Lol
Nice ride a piece of Americana right there
Super nice car again 👍🏻👍🏻
A real bargain,,, this one won't last long at all ,,, a really great deal,,, 😁✌
I had a 1972 Cutlass S 350 V8 automatic with a hurst duel gate shifter.
Ya just gotta love it, $20 gets me 3/4 of a tank of gas...stomps the gas a few times and now we're down to 1/2 tank...Ahhh yeah, the good ole days.
Nice car my birth year.awsome..
Damn sounds pretty good
Thank you
That's one beautiful automobile
Thank you
