      @@paxhumana2015 Elitism? Funny. I am a Mopar man all my life, and I'd have to say the Challenger is an exception. But the new school charger with 4 doors? Nah, they could have made it better. The rear tunnel window is missing. I hope they come out with a new Charger design though. And base it off the '68.

      @Moparmaga-1 Před 4 lety +2

      @Jim Watson I'm probably saying this & you already are aware but those rv 440s are good for stroker motors but dogs in stock form and have a short shaft trans.
      Look for a 4 door chrysler new Yorker, imperial, there's lots of cars that are cheap with 440s atleast any 440 after 73. Just in case ya didn't know the best 440 blocks for strokers are 76 & up. Bigger main webs. But if you're gonna do a stroker the 400 block is the best up to 72-74 630 casting because it has massive beef, nothing like the 230 casting but can handle 600 up easy with stock main caps. Very reliable in 451 471 cubes

    Wow, memory flashes starting. Parents first new car 58 Fairlane 500 w/390. 2 door. Mom said that was the only car she could blow the doors off another car with. Next, 62 Galaxy 500 again 390 2door. The dash in this car is almost exactly like the 68 4door satellite. 318 4barrel. Even stock it was a beast. Of course things started to go downhill after that. 72 fury 3 2door with a 400 2 barrel.74 Dodge dart 225 slant 6. Then the D100 prospector truck, umph 318 4barrel.

    Fun Facts: our mom purchased a brand new 1969 dodge coronet coupe in september of '68 when she was 26. she had traded her first new car for it, which was a 1963 Plymouth Sport Fury convertible. She didn't love the Coronet and traded that for a new red 1971 Mach I (351c) a few years later, which was the same model car used in the Bond film 'Diamonds Are Forever' (1971).
