Alex, I’m about to get the phase 1 Roush for my 2019 GT, and was wondering an idea when Lund will have a tune for that. Not sure how long I will want to run on Roush tune.
Maybe one of these days Ford will have the Coyotes with billet oil pump gears from the factory so we can truly just bolt on 800RWHP and not worry about it.
The oil pump gears aren't the big problem. The stock ringlands are.

Alex, how would you compare this blower to the new Roush 2650? This one seems to have the inlet size to accept a bigger TB whereas the new one with the front mount TB looks to be more restricted.
Id stick with the traditional GT500 S/C style.

@@em2k20 I have a street tune and a race tune. Street tune is 93 at 20 degrees race tune is 110 race gas at 22 to 24 depends on ambient, IAT's and knock. Good day 24 bad day 22. The street tune is very safe and runs high 9's now. I dont like E85 just because of the quality at different locations. Race fuel is always right.
I have the same blower with a 79mm pulley on it I run the TR7 plugs and I noticed the plugs were a little white so is that considered detonation? Just wondering before I ask my tuner about it.. it is also surging on the highway I run the stock roush tb
Surging is probably from air flow at MAF. I made a metal plate that blocks the air coming into my airfilter box. Stopped all surging issues for me. I have JLT cai..

P.S. Although I love the Coyote motor and I wish I could swing the cost of a 2011-14 Mustang GT, I will be checking out a 1998 Mustang GT in a few weeks (5-speed manual because I am keeping my balls, none of this getting my balls back, get those automatics away from me haha).

Owner probably had drag radials. The shop uses a standby set of regular radials for dyno testing.
im looking to install a roush phase 2 blower kit (comes with CAI, injectors, intercooler) on a 2015 5.0 and i was trying to get a parts list from a shop near me. they told me the roush blower is more meant for stock mustangs and i was confused because i thought u needed DS upgrades, exhaust, suspension for handling, brakes, and tires? wouldn't they all be necessary to get all the power to the wheels? anyone here with that supercharger have any tips?

5.0_2018 it would all depend on your wheel specs. Offset, back spacing all that stuff comes into play when trying to fit fat tires

That stock clutch won’t last long I’m at 650 wheel. And the stock clutch started slipping. Had to replace it at 18k miles
Nope. Don’t get me wrong. It’s a nice clutch. But I can’t stand rattles. So I installed a SPEC stage3+ it’s a little bit more clutch than I need but works great and will be perfect for when I go up in boost. It will hold 875lbft of toque at the crank.

Andrew V it’s holding up fine so far. However it is making some noise in neutral , the LAY shaft is weak in these trans Next year I plan to upgrade to a 6060 or a T56 magnum.

Isn't there supposed to be a ratcheting mechanism inside the hydraulic chain tensioner to prevent the chain guides from slapping like that?
When I did my MMR tensioners, guildes, opgs, and sprocket on my 2015 mine did not have the ratcheting mechanisn you are talking about neither do the MMR ones. But considering the tensioners run on oil pressure all should be good once the car is making oil pressure. Just turning it over like that will not make enough to tension them.

Thanks for the reply. I have never torn apart a Coyote but my Voodoo has ratcheting tensioners so I assumed the Coyote was the same.
I forgot that I once read something that says the Voodoo has wider chains than the Coyote. Now I'm second guessing myself about installing the correct crank sprocket!
@@TqSNv9R0iG5Ckxew you're welcome man and no the chains should be interchangeable I know it is possible to run gt350 chains on a coyote. Idk if the voodoo is stronger than the coyote chains but I do know they should be interchangeable as well as sprocket and opgs if I'm not mistaken only the oil pump housing is different.

No surprises there. It damn well better make that much Wheel with those mods.. to bad he wasn’t Bright enough to take the Exact same amount of money, & went with a TT setup. He would’ve netted around 25% MOORE WHEEL HP & TQ. And the car would DEFINITELY be faster than it is now with the SC setup
TT setup cost an extra 4k not the same amount.

I would agree, however it's a manual. Twin turbos and manuals don't work nearly as well due to the boost drop off each shift and having to build up boost at the start of each gear. Superchargers do better with a manual than turbos in my opinion.
Alejandro Flores I get that SC’ng Coyotes is your bread & butter, and I wouldn’t dare knock your hustle.. but there are to many TT Coyote’s out here now that run sub 9’s with ease for me, or anyone who’s Honest with themselves to suggest to anyone with a Coyote & wants to go seriously fast to choose a SC over a Turbo Setup.
I get that people like the SC whine, & the initial throttle tip in response of the SC, but Dollar for Dollar if you own a Coyote Mustang, or a Roadrunner Mustang & want to WIN, install a Damn Turbo.
