why not make a new segment: micro food. creating food that is about 10x smaller than normal {for example scale scaled ostrich egg vs quill egg} {and you need to see the ostrich egg as a normal sized egg} so scale the quill egg down, to have micro food
I genuinely laughed out loud while watching the end of this video. It really made my day, it also made the people on the train stare at me but who cares.
I recently watched an old testing sweets from the US video from 2014, it was so crazy, if you think Barry is usually hyper you gotta watch it! xD I think it was the first of the US ones.
Imagine coming home and hearing those noises, accompanied with laughter, and then walking into your kitchen and seeing your husband sucking on a giant candy. I think I'd just turn around lol
i’ve been a subscriber for roughly 3 years now and I still can’t get enough of all the giant foods you do. Keep it up, and thank you for always putting a smile on my face!
Thank u Barry for being so real and honest and funny and sharing the chocolate with your friends and family... And mostly thank you for trying!!!! Always loads of fun watching your attempts! 😀
Yes, that would be great! It would be interesting to see how the wafer is made. A giant Happy Hippo would be fun too. A giant Kinder egg with a decent toy in it could be good too and he could get Ashens to review it.
I wanted to concentrate, so I put my ear buds and I usually follow the descriptions and your voice, but not necessarily look. when you finished and were trying to eat the Tam... the noises you were making. I just about died laughing. Thanks for the giggles!
I love penguins so much! We had a british shop next to my house where i could buy them, but they moved and I am so sad, not just for the penguins, but teacakes and cream soda and dandelion and burdock lemonade, oh i miss this so much^^ - greetings from Germany
After having a rough day I sat down with some videos to chill out... found myself smiling and laughing so hard at this video. You never fail to cheer me up, Barry!!!
I just found your channel. I have the flu and am so sore from coughing, this video made me laugh so hard I had to hold a pillow on my ribs just to laugh. It caused me much pain but I rewound it and watched it again. It was worth the pain. Hilarious!
Man someone please give this guy a job at the most amazing cafe and bakery in the world I would so fly over to wherever it is and spend hundreds of dollars in there just to get him to make all this stuff again he is a fantastic Cook
I just put brownies in the oven, and oh boy am I thankful for that, because otherwise this might have been unbearable to watch - it looks so delicious 😋 Maybe except the slam part 😅😂
Here in the U.S. I don't know of any Tim Tam like biscuit but my sister has been wanting to try one for years I think I will surprise her with one of these. Wish me luck😅
His videos are absolutely incredible and also at the same time all of views helping him and his family keep an income coming in which is good keep up the amazing work Barry I've been a subscriber for a long time I've watched them most every single video on your channel they are all amazing
If you cream the butter and sugar together with an electric mixer it makes it much more fluffy and "melted" creamy too. You could try that method next time and see if it changes the consistency of the product any. My mum says it does but who knows lol
You're right next door to Aus anyway, so you do get a lot of the same brands, including Countdown supermarkets basically being Woolies under another name.
Quite likely imports - the question is, are they Arnotts brand? However Arnotts is owned by Campbells Soup, so they may make selling Tim-Tams a bit easier in America.
Yeah, it's an old Aussie company that was taken over by a big American corporation. I'd suspect that if not imports, then Campbells has someone manufacturing them over there. There's a story Mum heard about the immediate aftermath of the takeover, where the first team sent to overlook the company wanted to delete the five top lines of biscuits and change the company name to Arnotts "Cookies". One of the Arnotts family made an international call to the head of Campbells and asked if they'd intended for Arnotts to keep going as the company it was or if they'd wanted to tear the company apart. The team was recalled and replaced by a new team who had the good sense to pay attention to the Arnotts staff about what was popular and about Australian culture (the "biscuit" name).
Being Scottish living in Australia, I have to admit Tim tams are better Family who come to visit say the same thing! Don’t know what it is but Tim tams are just 👌🏼
It's mainly an Aussie thing to do with our Tim Tam's. Can use coffee, tea, Milo, hot chocolate and warm milk as the beverage! It makes the inside all melty then you have to be quick to pop it in your mouth or it crumbles into your drink.
You mad, mad man....(thanks for the laugh this morn, the ending was hilarious!) Also in the US, we get Tim Tams exported from Oz in grocery and some dept stores (Target). Not as many flavors as Oz or NZ, I'm on holiday in NZ right now and...I could slam all day!
I'm curious to know how many flavours NZ has. Here in Aus it's close to 10 flavours at one time :) Beware of the Target Tim Tam's. Can be the US recipe ones.
OK, so my first trip out of the US was to Ireland in May and at our first airbnb they had these in the room (with twix which are also better than the ones in the US), and I became immediately addicted and had to ship some to the US once we came home. :)
thats true. but he sucked on it. it means that if it worked a bit like the real tim-tams and a bit of the hot drink went through, then when he sucked on the other side, some of the saliva got sucked back in. LOL. if it didn't work like the real tim tams(meaning the seal on the chocolate isn't perfect) then its fine to just cut the corners.
As a kid I used to eat chocolate covered graham crackers this way. Biting opposite corners and sucking up the milk and then consume a milk drenched treat.
I really think it's cool you do this by hand, not all of us have a stand mixer. Recipes often say you can also do it by hand, but to see it is helpful. I loved the montage and the music you put with it :) But the end though! I was so sure this was gonna end like that, no way you could slurp the liquid all the way through that giant Tim Tam. Hm, I don't think we have those or knock-offs in Germany, would have to check the really big supermarkets for that.
Love that you called them Tim Tams the Aussie name rather than the British name. 😁😁 I wonder do you guys have several different flavours of these biscuits. Here we have caramel, cookies and cream, dark chocolate we had white chocolate ones at one point i don't know if we still do. They come up with new flavors all the time.

Ebony Ware the people on the train care. who knows if a psychopath was about to attack them
This mug can fit just about as much coffee as I need to get off my bed on a Monday
I was very hyper for a few hours after drinking from it
A *more* hyper Barry?! I can only imagine.
I recently watched an old testing sweets from the US video from 2014, it was so crazy, if you think Barry is usually hyper you gotta watch it! xD I think it was the first of the US ones.
Yes! I have to have tea in the morning but I secretly have coffee😂😂
Imagine coming home and hearing those noises, accompanied with laughter, and then walking into your kitchen and seeing your husband sucking on a giant candy. I think I'd just turn around lol
It's a biscuit not candy. And it's not a cookie either!
@@lmaree200886 cool 👍 Tim tams aren't a thing where I live
"Shall I leave you two alone?"
@@dalenna_ turn around and join him? Who would pass on a giant dessert?
I love how humble you are, this is why I love watching your videos. No bs :)
He's not humble just simple(not too bright)
That T-Rex mug. That would be me after devouring a giant Tim Tam. Not cause my arms are short but my belly would outgrow them 😂
Or explode. Either way, it would be amazing. lol
"Hey Barry".......Love this 1960's soothing happy go lucky music, and your amazing food reconstructions.
Awe, I don’t know why but I actually quite liked seeing you purchasing the massive amount of ingredients.
Good video either way 👍🏻
I got told off recently by a security guard haha
My Virgin Kitchen That’s understandable to why you don’t do it then haha. No worries, just keep doing what you do :D
The Tim-Tam slam attempt was one of the most horrifying things I've ever seen on your channel. Thank you!
You at the end there with trying to slurp up the coffee through the Tim tam, omg I was grinning an laughing so much, loved it!!
The sounds and faces you made during the slam attempt were so funny
i’ve been a subscriber for roughly 3 years now and I still can’t get enough of all the giant foods you do. Keep it up, and thank you for always putting a smile on my face!
Thank u Barry for being so real and honest and funny and sharing the chocolate with your friends and family... And mostly thank you for trying!!!! Always loads of fun watching your attempts! 😀
I just wanted to say that Dino mug is plain adorable I wanna hug the Dino rn. 💖
My second favourite part of a penguin bar was always the little joke on the back of the packet.
I love the music that you picked while you were assembling. I have never had a Tim Tam before. It looks delicious!
A giant kinder bueno would be so cool!!!
On the to do list
Oh yes please my son would love that. His favourite.
Great idea!
Yes, that would be great! It would be interesting to see how the wafer is made. A giant Happy Hippo would be fun too. A giant Kinder egg with a decent toy in it could be good too and he could get Ashens to review it.
That last bit was awesome.

My daughters thought that last bit was hilarious.... thanks for the entertainment!
I love drinking through penguin bars because it makes the biscuit soft.
Aussie Aussie Aussie oi oi oi
🤣 I’m Australian great video! Im so excited👌
Towards the end was awesome!!! Great job Barry!!!!
I never knew Penguins were Tim Tams - learn something new every day! :)
The end was like my first kiss :)
I suddenly have the urge to grab a pack of Tim-Tams from the store....ANYWHO! THIS LOOKS GREAT, BARRY!
OMG THE END HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA
Okay but can we talk about that lovely electric kettle! I need that!
I cannot believe that i follow barry since almost 4 years and this is the first time i see this one. the end was epic!
Man someone please give this guy a job at the most amazing cafe and bakery in the world I would so fly over to wherever it is and spend hundreds of dollars in there just to get him to make all this stuff again he is a fantastic Cook
Whever I look at Barrys fridge I see a giant exclaimation mark!
You are hysterical. I just love watching your videos. Great job mate
I just put brownies in the oven, and oh boy am I thankful for that, because otherwise this might have been unbearable to watch - it looks so delicious 😋 Maybe except the slam part 😅😂
Genius - I'm going to make one of these for my son this Christmas.
Here in the U.S. I don't know of any Tim Tam like biscuit but my sister has been wanting to try one for years I think I will surprise her with one of these. Wish me luck😅
The part where he tried to do the Timtam slam was hilarious
That mug holds the proper amount of tea for me to survive on xD

Love watching these with my gf Barry, great ideas for us and the kids thanks for the great content, keep it up!
Love the vintage montage music 🎵
Can't wait till he gets to 1 million!!!!
He's soooooo close!!

I used to have a t shirt with that dinosaur saying on, still makes me giggle.
As an Aussie who generally loves a good Tim Tam.. this one gets my tick of approval ✔ looks delicious, wonderful job 😋👌
Good morning Barry! Another giant food, my favourite!x
Woooo barry knows what a timtam slam is!!!!
You can use the bottom of a matching sheetpan to press the cake into the sheetpan. Just use a piece of wax paper or parchment in between.
You looked like a chocolate loving vampire at the end there haha! Count Chocula perhaps? :D
Th end is quite hilarious! Great impression for the the first timers aka me
Not going to lie, i was a bit sceptical about a brit making a tim tam but it looks delicious!
Barry, you are the man! I wish I had the courage to make this sort of thing. It looks delicious!
The end was hilarious 😂😂😂
We call them Tim tams in nz too
You're right next door to Aus anyway, so you do get a lot of the same brands, including Countdown supermarkets basically being Woolies under another name.
TimTams here in the states too, in Indiana at least. I love these!
Your videos make me so happy!
This was calling out for a penguin wrapper with obligatory bad dad joke
When I found out Tim Tams are just Penguins I had a brain blast.
If you put the milk in before the water in coffee it stops the granules burning and generally makes it taste better :)
9:15 I love that instrument!
In America they are Tim Tams as well. I've only seen them at Walmart.
Quite likely imports - the question is, are they Arnotts brand? However Arnotts is owned by Campbells Soup, so they may make selling Tim-Tams a bit easier in America.
I looked up the packaging and I believe the package I saw was Arnotts.
Yeah, it's an old Aussie company that was taken over by a big American corporation. I'd suspect that if not imports, then Campbells has someone manufacturing them over there.

I've bought them there before too. But it's been awhile lol
I've bought them in target and have seen them in my local grocery store too. The are the originals.
Being Scottish living in Australia, I have to admit Tim tams are better
Family who come to visit say the same thing! Don’t know what it is but Tim tams are just 👌🏼
O M G. This must be the best thing you've made!
Omg I love Hallix it’s sooooo good
love the peppy montage music!
Your lungs don't have the suction power. Next time - *vacuum*
Love timtams. First having them was on a trip to Australia, but in the past few years one of the stores up here in Alaska has been selling them too.
8 33 😂😂😂 ive had alot of penguin biscuits but never tried to dring coffee out of it

@@lmaree200886 ok thansk
This is so amazing!!! 🐧
Anyone else think he was gonna do the coating with the excess pouring straight onto the counter? Then relieved AF when he grabbed the tray? 😅😅😅🤣🤣🤣
the timtam dunk in the end :"D i cant :"D
You're basically the Austin Powers of cooking :P
Yes Barry
Tim Tams are so much nicer than Penguins.
I used to be able to get them quite often, but sadly no longer :(
In Canada we call them Tim-Tams as well
Hello from Seattle Washington!! These are my favorite cookies ever! AMAZING!
You mad, mad man....(thanks for the laugh this morn, the ending was hilarious!)

GIANT FERRO ROCHER !!! this is the first video I watched and I love ittttt !!! keeeeppp it upp
You should do a giant mug cake/brownie in that mug!
Even Barry struggled to get his mouth around that!
OK, so my first trip out of the US was to Ireland in May and at our first airbnb they had these in the room (with twix which are also better than the ones in the US), and I became immediately addicted and had to ship some to the US once we came home. :)
Liking just for the awesome mug!
Fantastic video Barry. And that music immediately reminded me of the old Carry On films I used to watch as a kid, lol. Lee :)
" let friends and family have some " after sucking on the giant bar of choco coated biscuit lol
MrBroxMan I suppose he can cut off those corners 😊
thats true. but he sucked on it. it means that if it worked a bit like the real tim-tams and a bit of the hot drink went through, then when he sucked on the other side, some of the saliva got sucked back in. LOL. if it didn't work like the real tim tams(meaning the seal on the chocolate isn't perfect) then its fine to just cut the corners.
Ohhh I see what you're saying ☺
Goodness that would be amazing
As a kid I used to eat chocolate covered graham crackers this way. Biting opposite corners and sucking up the milk and then consume a milk drenched treat.
Yes! More giant food! I've already watched all of your other giant foods :(
The sucking part made me cry of laughter ! XD
Ahhhhhh! Tim Tams, miss those little buggers.
I fricken love Tim Tams especially the caramel ones because when you do the Tim Tam Slam the caramel melts and is all oozy a gooey and delicious
I really think it's cool you do this by hand, not all of us have a stand mixer. Recipes often say you can also do it by hand, but to see it is helpful.
I loved the montage and the music you put with it :)

Penguins ≠ TimTams
*TimTams are the superior force!*
Love that you called them Tim Tams the Aussie name rather than the British name. 😁😁

Barry strikes me as a plumber on a building site, idk why.
You should do a giant 99 with a giant flake
