I think my favorite scene in the episode was Lee checking Slim & letting the cat out the bag that she knew she was hunching with Babe's ole man & your hexes on Slim were a great bonus!😂😂😂
Bill Paley lived 12 years after Babe died and never remarried. Babe died in 1978 of lung cancer age 63. Slim also died of lung cancer in 1990 aged 72. C.Z. Is my favorite Swan. All these ladies were born same era as my Mom but worlds apart! I love your recaps and your Truman impersonation!

Truman did have a relationship with John’s daughter. There’s a Hulu documentary and she’s on it. She’s his adopted daughter. Slim =evil. The best line in the series so far was when Truman called the Governor’s wife a “fat ankled harridan”. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I'm really good at coming up with creative ways to get back at people who've done me wrong. I may or may not have left dried shrimp peels in the curtain rod of someone who I took care of and then they did me dirty. It was months before they figure out what was going on. I may or may not have enjoyed watching the aftermath...🤗🤗

I couldn't figure out if your imitation was more Capote or Snagglepuss, but, either way, I loved it!!
Slim is my favorite character as well which is why I don't appreciate how the show tries to villainize her. There is no evidence of her and Bill Paley having an affair in real life and her decision to cut Truman off is understandable. However all the other swans act as if she is being unreasonable and keeping Babe and Truman apart.
Someone else mentioned that as well. If I were here family I’d be pissed at this portrayal

Yes and he's hard enough to understand without the lisp. I have gone down the Capote rabbit hole on CZcams and Philip Seymour Hoffman did a fantastic portrayal as well.
Btw- Ryan Murphy said he added the slim/ Bill relationship on his own. There's no proof of that ever happening.

Ok but this recap is a masterpiece for you opining on how you would haunt Bill Paley. I full body laughed, shaking laughter. Rewound it again and kept laughing. I agree, it's not even the volume of cheating for me but the fact that he would do that with a close friend of hers while she was DYING. That is just so cold and selfish. If I had to haunt Bill, I would curse him with endless gas, the smell of flatulence would follow him but he wouldn't be able to smell it. He would never know why people would be giving him the side-eye everywhere.

I enjoyed this episode and yes, Slim turned into Slimy. She and Bill the community peen deserve to be haunted together 😂 I liked Jack because he was a good friend that wanted to help Truman get well but that self-destructive goblin went back to John the psychotic bully 🙄
I haven't googled anything about her but I have a feeling that when it comes to Kerry O'Shea, Truman didn't mistreat her like he did everyone else in his life. I agree that therapy does help in a myriad of ways so I related to those scenes showing Babe's & Truman's sessions.
