This causes the lowering of blood clots. Also, we talk about the pathophysiology of heart attack and stroke and how Aspirin is beneficial. We discuss the mechanism of action of Aspirin and their side effects. Drugs mentioned include; Aspirin, Aggrenox , dipyridamole, baby aspirin.

Great videos. Clear, and speedy, and the speaker's voice is interesting. I like how you provide only needed information some videos go into overkill with too much detail that we cannot retain critical information.

@@DrugChug yes, it did. I'm in nursing school and taking Pharmacology. You're doing a good job of explaining how drugs work, so I'm not just memorizing names, actions, and side effects.
Just a suggestion, but maybe put something about nursing in your descriptions, if not the actual titles? Or you could upload copies with nursing in the titles. I say this because nursing videos get a lot more views than straight-up Pharm videos, and your videos deserve a lot more views. Just an idea.
@@KEP1983 Thanks for the idea! Its a great Idea, and I truly appreciate that!
Also, Good luck in school! You Got This!
Thanks sir

What about lowering fibrinogen? Since fibrin is the glue that holds the platelets together. A study showed 2 grams of turmeric per day lowered fibrinogen 20%. Mine went from 445 to 341.

Thanks for you're videos...I want to know what do you think...I am on a baby asprin a day...Because i had a PE...I used xarelto after event but on a baby asprin now....Don't you think it's better to use the asprin that bloks both factors the cox-1 and ADP....I will talk to my dok before considering it...Just want to know what you think...
Sir my doctor has prescribed aspirin 75 mg and SSRI PAROXETINE 25 mg. Sir is it safe to take both of these at the same time? I'd appreciate if you can tell that if someone is on aspirin and if by any chance he bleeds how blood coagulation will perform as aspirin stops the formation of blood clot.
Why is aspirin added to lisinopril, metformin and atorvastatin medications?
Thank you for this video. it's very informative and a possible life saver. I shall be telling my gp that i want to take aspirin and not apixaban.
Is Enteric Coated aspirin safer on the stomach than regular aspirin ??????
So if i get a cut how do i stop bleeding on low dose aspirin...!!
hi there can you please also talk about medicines used for depression , anxiety , bipolar disease and schizophrenia.
Yes! More videos are planned and going to come out in the future! Stay tuned 😁
I presume its 81mg in America. Its 75mg in Ireland, so i wonder about the difference between 81mg and 75mg. I'm not sure about other European countries. Great break down of information.
In libya from north africa 75mg too
A big jump to say cox1 responsible for mocus in stomach xd... More it leads to PGE2 and others that reduce apoptosis in gut epithelium

To avoid a heart attack is it OK to take 1 75mg asprin in a morning, then 1 more 75mg asprin before bed?
It’s better not to take it prophylactically. That’s new research. Only take if you’ve had a cardiovascular incident before.
@@77sogeorge
That makes zero sense
Literally zero
@@johnrambo4245 if you eat like a hog and live a sedentary lifestyle and expect an aspirin to save you from a heart attack, then feel free. I’ve been working in the cardiac catheterization lab for 25 years. I know what I’m taking about. There was a time when the prophylactic use of Aspirin was widespread, but it’s changed recently. Unless you have high risk factors or have had one cardiovascular event, it’s not being encouraged. This is published research and not my pseudoscience. But of course, THE John Rambo knows better. 🤣😂🤣😂
@Solomon George
Like I said zero sense
If its good enough to stop a heart attack a second time, then it's good enough to stop one in the first place.
All you robotic zealots that "work" in the medical fields need to learn to think for yourselves instead of regurgitating the spew that comes from above, but you never will because the other sheep would oust you from their flock.
@@johnrambo4245 stick to Vietnam 😂🤣😂🤣 . It may be better for you.
Why isn’t there a pill you had to dissolve it restaurant
