- How do Nitrates (Nitroglycerin) Work? These direct nitrates are vasodilators that increase cGMP which causes veins to dilate . This causes an increase in oxygen supply to the heart, which reduces angina (chest pain).
There are 3 main drugs in this class: Nitroglycerin (NitroSTAT), Isosorbide Mononitrate & Isosorbide Dinitrate.. They are all vasodilators. These medications are used to treat and prevent angina pectoris.

I think, Nitroglycerin reduce preload which mean reduce venous return to the heart and reducing working load of the heart, reducing oxygen demand in myocardium. Dilation of artery will effect coronary arteries thus increase oxygen supply to myocardium.

This is beautifully written. Thank you!
Thank you very much for describing in short
Will isosorbide dinitrate be a good supplement to improve nitric oxide?

The best of the best. This should be what every cardiologist should tell their patients to watch as an intro to medications he/she prescribes. Well done!

What is your comment of Nitriglycerine cream use for improvement of ED ??
Can you take isosotbide if you are prediabetic as prevention for heart disease and kidney disease?
Is there a contraindication of niacin with isosorbide dinitrates?
Any research on the effect of NO with CKD?
what is the difference if any between mono and dinitrate?
How about if you only take 5mg Isordil for prevention? Can you take it every 12hrs?
Do I need to lock up my nitroglycerin in a cabinet. I’ve been carrying it in my left pocket since I had my heart attack at the age of 36 and I am healthy as a horse when I had my heart attack it was just runs in my family. I have a question and I’m just curious but if you have to take more than Three doses five minutes apart and it hurt you or kill you?
It can potentially lead to hypotension, which can result in a lack of sufficient oxygen delivered to important parts of the body like your brain. Which is no bueno :/
Dang, I missed the premiere!!!
No you didn't! Haha, sorry I was testing out how to publish the premiere and accidentally just published it 😅
Keep making videos u will reach a million subs when people find ur channel
Wow! Thank you for the continued support!
Would it be unsafe for anyone to take? Any precautions? I have been having chest pain & headaches ever since covid vaccine and wanted to see if it helps.
If you have a history of low blood pressure or take ED medication then it’s not recommended to take Nitro. Aside from the fact that it’s also a medication that must be prescribed. Also a side effect are headaches, it really won’t make those go away. I’d talk to your or a doctor before obtaining and taking it.
thnx 4m egypt
Love this teaching like it was very calm so every word was just penetrating . Lovely
I have a question, what if you're 18 year old girl with Scleroderma taking Sildenafil for high pulmonary arterial hypertension and also taking nitro bid as well. Is that bad?
Sildenafil and nitrates are both vasodilators, thus their combination can lead to severe hypotension which is bad
Do the headaches ever go away?
Can reduce plague?
What will happen if you stop taking your inder?... I for got for a few days or a week idk tbh... but OMG! It felt like I was having a heart attack! Worst trust brain I've ever felt in my life!! and I was Also extremely stressed out stone am lol but the pain is not as bad now no last as long as be for
👍
If you don't have angina pectoris can you use Nitroglycerine in low dose as supplement?
I would not, but i also thought about this🤔it expands the blood vessels so it could be used for lifting (like many bodybuilders use viagra to get more pump), but it also would be interesting how it affects sex. Another angina pectoris medication (Amylnitrite) is widely used as „poppers“ cause sex on it feels awesome. Only downside is that it only lasts about one minute, and that you habe to inhale it. Would be interesting if nitroglycerin has similar effects, at least the side effects named in the Video Sound similar😂

Do you know of any research? Will it help CKD?
@@bobcocampo i dont know i didnt study Pharmazeutics at an university yet im just a pharmazeutic tecnician😂dont know how you call it in USA. I didnt find any study and dont think they will do ones on th „recreational“ use of this medicine. But self experiments wouldnt be that hard and maybe also fun😂
Its give good return result, but the side effect headache mix with hypertension😑😑😑 can made you struggle for 2 night

Where are the answers for ur questions
Back in the 80s and 90s I had to walk to my library when I was curious and wanted to learn. Now it's at the touch of a button. Almost all knowledge. So my question is why do I see morons every fucking day EVERYWHERE!?
came here after watching how Johan Liebert killed 1 director and the other 2 doctor in monster anime 😅
it "literately" means chest tightness or constriction.... not pain. tf
b .c .d. d
ja sniffing mononitrate is not the best experience
I CANNOT use Isordil and another unstable angina medicine..
I can use nitroglycerin only 😅 I also have experience use nitroglycerin two pieces tablet in same time and it only used for STRESS TESS or MSCT SCAN treatment... Only me can sweet dreams inside MRI machine 🤣 the rest need monitoring after check up...☺️ But after 3 days I admitted to hospital due WALKING alot after colouring injection into blood.. no option because I ride Commuters 🚈 😅
